What's rotten about it. Some nice sets, good minifigures, decent discounts, not overly long life and in the Mystery Machine a set which is an iconic vehicle and wouldn't look out of place beside any of the Ideas vehicles.

TRU had BF prices in store today from 1-4 PM EST for Rewards members. They had a lot of new sets I grabbed these and the boat. They also have a neat looking sailboat and a street sweeper that I think has a really cool new element, blue bristle brush.

Hit the B&M store in Houston last BF at 0500. Scored AT ATs, fire station and some other items with lots of gingerbread houses, sold half, kept the other half. All in all a great score as the main line was at the Starbucks and not Lego, fools. Overpriced coffee at $37. It seems this year will be BORING, I even swapped a work shift to be off in hopes of a great score, I may still go since I have nothing else to do in the morning and pray there are hidden gems. It would be very unEuropean for LEGO to change sales this late in the game.

OK.....so I'm drinking the Kool-Aid and going to try and embrace the whole SYW thing. My local Kmart had three garbage trucks in stock. Ordered them for pick up and I somehow had $11.75 in surprise points. So I basically bought two and got one free.

it's been that way for a couple of days. last year a bunch of stuff that was SOLD OUT prior to the sale was available briefly. Wall-E, Dr. Who, and Architecture White House are all sold out and on sale. I'm guessing the sold out sets will make a 15 nanosecond reappearance and will drive in store sales.

Looks like a couple sets will be %40 off for black Friday. Raptor Rampage, Hulkbuster, The First Night, select Bionicle, and an Elves/Friends sets are shown. Plus $15 giftcard if you spend $100. If i didn't already have a healthy stock of Raptors i'd jump on that, not sure I've seen many Hulkbusters left in my area.

Yeah, I know about the "exclude incomplete" checkbox. For example on Assault on Hoth, some sellers will list only the snowspeeder or just generally for sets without minifigs. But unfortunately this is not the cause over here. Rather, it was probably someone selling a bunch of stuff in a super lot. Setting every item super cheap to catch buyers attention and then just having one set at a ridiculously high price. This would be solved if they had an "exclude super lots" checkbox.
