Tonight I finished the GB Headquarters, and I have to say what a fantastic set and great build, definitely one of my favourites!! Yes the walls can get a bit repetitive, sometimes the roof has got a tendency to pop up at the ends, and the fact the chairs in the kitchen aren't secured can be a little frustrating when moving the set (which I'll mod) but in the grand scheme of things this all becomes irrelevant because this set has it all. For any GB fan, they will appreciate that no detail has been overlooked, it captures so much from the films to the extent I even put my Jackie Wilson CD on and was expecting the toaster to start dancing on the pool table, but no cigar!!!

Used and 100% complete Death Star with box and instructions: $280 Finally found a used one to build for a price that I was happy with.

I moved these to my Exo shelf.

It's 2 different arguments. the millennium has nothing to do with the way that we group real numbers. You can't say that Amazing Spider-Man 90 is really 80 or that $1.00 is really $.99 Any numbering system where you group it by a certain identifier has to have that identifier. 1990 is not a part of a group consisting of items numbered 198X. And See, I know that you were just doing that tongue in cheek and I went overly pedantic. But, I'm in a weird place mentally at the mo.

I'll answer my own question here, I called eBay. These can indeed be shipped separately, and he said that with GSP, you actually need to ship separately. Lesson learned.

Two things - 1. I don't think you understand how badly I'd buy these 2. I love that Orco is only a torso!

Someone inside Lego explained me that they initially proposed to FIFA doing minifigures of different soccer national teams and Germany was the only one quick enough to respond with reasonible terms and $ fair demand marketing expectations. Make no mistake, the fact that Germany is the only one set up in Lego has nothing to do with being the current World Cup champion. Other national teams were not quick enough to respond before production took place and others asked for insane marketing earnings. I don't rule out and in fact I'd expect more national teams to follow in the future, being this set the very first one and therefore more valuable IMHO. And yes, there is a FIFA licence tied up to Germany's set, but it already expired and no more production will take place.

Yes there was suppose to be another set or two, but Lego decided not to do anymore, one reason is they had tons of complaints from parents and I am sure there are other reasons. "And this is not my gut saying these are retiring by the end of the year, really don't like saying where the info came from but I will say the Simpsons are not on the 2017 Exclusive order form. Now some sets sell out before the end of the year and some hang around for a few months in the new year. If you think these sets are duds well don't get any. But I think no matter how you feel about these I would get a few, does anybody really think these sets will never increase in value to make you money. Simpsons are well known worldwide, and 20 yrs from now they still will be still a hit. Ed

I purchased three Spider-man Daily Bugle sets without minifigs and used the pieces (plus other pieces in our bulk bin) to build this little modular hospital. I also order a set of doctor office stickers from Brick Builders Pro. If you noticed in the pictures, apparently my son seems to think that all our doctors are also the patients...haha.

With numbered bags I never felt the need to do any kind of presort. This may change when it comes to building the TB. I'll need to keep building LEGO sets in mind as a way to test prospective spouses for housekeeping abilities. Also, this may be slightly off-topic but I just received a Tower Bridge with 17S6 seals.

And both likely to be in production for 20 years or so.

you are 100% correct its a BS. but there is nothing we can do. and seller support of Amazon is pretty much worthless... all portion of business including A-Z and support is out-sourced. and you will be lucky to find a decent english speaking person there. two things: 1. did you purchase insurance on this (i mean separate insurance)? i know its $50 USPS for priority but note the tricky part if the tracking shows delivered and customer claims not received then USPS doesn't pay the claim. it will be denied.. if you have insurance then you can play the wait and watch game i.e. if the customer claims non-receipt you can file insurance and see if you get paid. 2. do you have signature confirmation? that's the only thing AMAZON considers as proof of delivery. and i have had A-Z (against me) even when i had signature and in those cases USPS ended up footing the bill because i "buy insurance" if the answer to (1) and (2) both are NO. then a. send message to customer that the item has already been shipped via USPS. they should refuse delivery and not accept delivery. if they accept the delivery then they will have to pay for the return shipping and yada yada. see how it works....

I'm just giving you a hard time. Since I graduated in 1990, I loath to consider myself a child of the 90s or that I graduated in the 90s. BttF was over and done with before 1990 finished out. Funny enough I just now learned that Gremlins 2 opened the same day as BttF 3!

What a f-ing mess with my ebay TRU orders. I placed 2 orders containing multiple items, 1 order fully canceled & refunded and somehow the other 1 partially refunded. When I asked if an item in the partially refunded order was going to be shipped, they kept referring to my other order... Moral of the story: one should heed the wisdom of @exciter1
