I always order quantities matching the content of the official Lego distribution boxes, and Walmart then ship the complete box. For example, if you order Witch King Battles, place orders with a quantity of 8 each.2 points

Although it may be annoying to you, It is within eBay policy to do that. This is part of the risk with auction listings. I bid the min amount from time to time just to see if it sticks You do not need a reason to block anyone, but I save my block list for the non payers and scammers2 points

Bunch of Targets in my area marked this one down from 30% off directly to 70% off today, so I picked up one: 70808: Super Cycle Chase $14.982 points

Seeing this picture wishes Lego would, now that R2D2 might retire, release a C3PO set, in the same scale as R2D2 so they could stand right next to each other. Can you image the number of golden bricks?2 points

LOL! I thought I moved a similar one like this yesterday!!! Dude, take it to the "What to buy" thread, that's what it's for... Risky risky, I have my finger on the delete key.2 points

We just did this same exact exercise yesterday...Placing the same question in a different thread doesn't make it a new question...2 points

Bricks is Bricks. we have many, many containers, collections , some built, some partially built, but mostly just bricks. it was always fun to sort out and find mini-figures and other non-brick pieces. We have about 75 containers this way, several are sorted by color, as we built, we could just go to the color and look for what we needed when we built from instructions that either came with the container, we have over 6 feet of instructions stacked tall. One other word, is when you do find a non-sorted container and it comes with instructions, ASK if these instructions came with these bricks? Sorting if you plan on trying to build from what is in the container: Date the container/s, mark #1, 2, etc. pick out the non-bricks/special parts, mini-figures, keep instructions together with the container/s. Put mini-figures in a plastic bag same with special parts and also keep together in the containers. This way you will know whats what with a little practice and you may be able able to build. Save time/make money: If instructions match the container contents, Check the value of the sets USED. on Brickpicker and e-bay. Unless you want it, don't build it, just part out the bricks. Many times with Mini-figures included in the containers alone. you can tell what sets/themes you have. Now back to your question: Is $600 worth it for 110 lbs.??? Right off NO!!! 110lbs should be about 5 to 6 containers, I'm figuring the semi-clear ones from Cosco. The smaller the brick the more the container will weigh. When buying Remember: No Mini-Figures, No buy! Always bring along your empty container to pour out the one/s for sale. Look for Mega Blocks. Mixed in or whole containers. They also have to be Clean, no sticky stuff, Hair/ animal or human. If you continue to buy Lego in containers this way, you will find all kinds of stuff. Ask yourself the question? Am I looking for Just Bricks? For me I would stay away from it. Worth Maybe $200. maybe. Advertise for Lego in your local, you are going to make a few mistakes, but thats how you learn. My wife and I bought a container once in our early days of buying a container for $50, we carefully picked a couple of hands full of mini-figures and threw the rest of away, it was too dirty to clean.1 point

I cleared out half of a garage sale's massive haul of Duplo for our kid. Like all of the 2005 Duplo Airport line for $15, although the massive plane's decals are messed up a bit. Mack's Road Trip 5816 and some other Cars for $15, zoo stuff, circus stuff, farm stuff, about half a trunk full for $50. I probably should have picked up another tub that had a large baseplate and a couple hundred bricks for $20, but we use a Duplo table anyway. Unfortunately, missed out on the Thomas and Bob the Builder stuff.1 point

I reported this to eBay but the CS guy said the only thing that wasn't OK was the "new" & then "to be built" (not new) aspect, so NAD. I think the entire listing is bizarre...1 point

Very perceptive Padawan! Just teasing... That was my first Indy set and is suspended with clear wire flying over my desk. Lost tomb was my second set. After those I stopped opening most of my Lego sets and became a mint sealed purist collector. One exception I bought R2D2 on opening day and admired the box until last Christmas and opened it and built it with the family. I have 20 more of him stored away but perhaps that makes me a bad guy according to some opinions (not pointed at anyone) in the Target thread lol1 point

If you don't want to part them out, then they would make a great "bonus" set to include with some higher priced Lego Movie sets to make your listings stand out from the pack. Nice find.1 point

Have you guys seen a mixer (Scrambler) in real life? A ferris wheel dwarfs them and a mixer isn't all that impressive to look at, but it is a fun ride. I think the scale of it is perfect in comparison to the ferris wheel and the hauler truck and carnival games that come with it are just bonuses. I guess I'm a bit baffled why the mixer is so underwhelming for everyone?1 point

I have rental properties in both commercial and residential. Let me tell you these are not get rich plans or even conducive for most. Most residential barely spit off much income and the moment you have a tenet not pay or destroy the property you are S.O.L. The real money comes in appreciation of the property itself, and in most markets that is really minimal. When you take into insurance, taxes and the note you would be lucky to break even if you did a loan with the minimal put down. Commercial is much better and more lucrative. You also are more protected. Most of these are like an investment in any form. It should be a return on your money. If you can get the property cheap or even in foreclosure it helps. But most likely you will have lots of bills or even repairs soon on these properties. Don't forget if the roof needs replacing or water heater goes down you are on the line for this. You better be supper handy or have lots of capital before venturing into this. Your best bet really for most would be pay off your credit card debt which is costing you 15-22% or your home. You can't get any return on your money of 15-22% out there, why not keep your money and use for something else. Just my 2cents Now on to lego Any more info on the TOO?1 point
