16 set city lot for $585 shipped. Mostly small to medium sets. All new and sealed. If you are looking to move volume and clean up some inventory selling in lots is the way to go.4 points

Two AA's + two of the Christmas 2/2 of winter slide sets + two 2015 calendars. I am pairing an AA and Christmas slide. It just seems right to me. Year, after year, after year Batman fights these heinous, vile maniacs and keeps them in Arkham Asylum for ALL our sakes. IMO, it captures the "Christmas spirit" that during one magical season, they all- Batman included- set aside their differences, enjoy a cup of cocoa/holiday nog, and take turns sliding on the ice and singing Christmas carols. Let it be an example for all of us.3 points

Everything except... taxes, gasoline, ferries, alcohol, cigarettes, books, clothing, toys, dairy: milk, cheese, butter, eggs..., bread or grains, cereal, produce except for locally grown, junk food, organic food, health food, vitamin supplements, antihistamines, ibuprofen/acetaminophen (but we can get extra strength OTC and other goodies), razor blades, shampoo, creams - generally ANY personal effect or toiletry, cosmetics, poultry, shelving, housing (subjective based on percentage of income), restaurant bills, golf by 100+% - actually, most sports. I am sure I missed about 100+ categories, but I got enough of them not counting what employers have to pay as well. And everyone can be assured that as the dollar drops, the purchasing power of Canadians will drop in reference to the American dollar. Ask border towns how much their economies decrease as the Canadian dollar devalues.3 points

I once sent out messages to all the buyers who didn't leave feedback asking them to do so. One came back with my first neutral. I don't ask anymore.2 points

buy, buy, buy, buy, buy, then HOLD. This set is insanely cool. We rarely build large sets but could not resist this one. I categorize it as a Town-Hall type investment... buy, sit, hold. Long-term appeal for a long-time audience of LOTR fans. In the back of our attic there is a "special" place, with boxes of gifts/items we don't like/want but feel too guilty to get rid of them. An inherited Velvet Elvis from a deceased uncle, along with his glazed Dale Earnhart plate collection... a box of horrible hand-made sweaters from Aunt Ethel which are nothing shy of atrocious but we don't have the heart to get rid of, etc., etc., etc. We are planting a few TH's and ToO's next to THAT inventory. Distant... and not to be visited for a very long time. Those familiar with Tolkien's work understand the intrinsic value of the ToO and how truly iconic this set is. For those unfamiliar with his work, trust your fellow investors who are familiar with its appeal. You do not need to have any interest in what this set represents; you can research it thoroughly- on this very thread- and understand it has the potential to make you a lot of money. Tolkien and the fantasy genre may mean nothing to you, which is certainly okay, but if making money is- I would start at page one of this topic and begin reading. This should be ranked very, very high on any investor's radar based on what is currently available, what is near retiring, and what will offer long-term growth and demand.2 points

Some of these effects and similar missions took place in the old "Rogue Squadron" video game series. Pretty awesome stuff and I'm tempted now and again to break out the old Gamecube to fire up some Rogue Squadron and Rogue Squadron II.2 points

Haha, a person need only ask for the Mr. or Ms. Brick award. Nothing to prove at all. ....Actually, I really do not want to see 'the proof'. Gentlemen, here are your awards. Enjoy. :)2 points

Hi Everyone, I'm Mike, an adult fan of lego from the UK. My wife thinks that I am mad after recently getting back into LEGO. My collection is only small at the moment, consisting of the Ghostbuster Ecto 1 and X wing (9493) I have the Tumbler (76023) sitting in the Lego warehouse waiting to be sent out (hurry up lol) and the Millenium Falcon (7965) waiting for me for Xmas. My 2 lads have taken an interest too and are eagerly awaiting Xmas so they can build what they have asked for Looking forward to getting new ideas for future sets from everyone1 point

Its good for you because your primary currency of doing business is USD and not the CDN dollar and you take advantage of both markets equally apparently. Where as I can't buy readily in the USA market (I'm about 1000km from the US border) and don't have a big source of USD to play with. Also I can't sell on eBay with an equal footing as another seller with a USA address. So your facts are skewed about what Canadian buyers can take advantage of and what you take for granted. A lower Canadian dollar helps me sell at a bit better margin but still costs the same for me to buy the same items here. It may get worse if LEGO decides to jack up prices again next year due to a depressed CDN dollar. And the Igloo comment was SOOO original.1 point

Troll badges are earned by comments like "Everything is dirt cheap." Don't pretend to be so benevolent. You PM a few people about deals, hooray for you. If you haven't noticed, nobody believes you aren't Supraboy and nobody believes you arent being a tool in the forums. Even if said persona was true, nobody appreciates you having your secretary (administrative assistant is the acceptable title) sell them in the TRU parking or clearing out all of our dirt cheap deals to sell to your wonderful customers overseas. BP is about making money yes, and I've appreciated the few heads ups you've posted publicly about but please stop giving out bad advice like set X is cheaper in Canada when it's not.1 point

Considering I have one I play with and I have one that is a Zelda mint new in the box that I am keeping with a Zelda 3DS XL mint in the box, this one doesn't really interest me. But its a nice deal for someone who does not have one.1 point

Ha, I think you really might be onto something after I watched the trailer again...would not at all be surprised to see Jedi vs Troopers in a quidditch type game with the original Kenny Loggins playing in the background recapturing that epic scene from Top Gun:1 point

I'd like one of those at a discount like that. But i don't drive to Richmond on a good day if I can avoid it, let alone when there's snow on the ground.1 point

Bit the big one today and ponied up for this. Was able to land it for only $250 and an Elf Workshop from a really great collector. I was afraid the cost of this set would just keep climbing and I didn't want to miss out on this one for our personal collection. Now all we need is the Green Grocer and Cafe Corner. $$$$ Someday.1 point

because amazon clientele are richer dumber and lazier. why would anyone buy minecraft for more than msrp when shop at home has them in stock? RD&L bought in with average price of $46 - would be nice to break $100. one encouraging sign is that the ENTIRE PRINCESS THEME is out of stock until December 11 at shop at home - hopefully other retailers will be getting wiped out soon and the true appreciation of Cinderellas Romantic Castle can begin. nice going lego with that planning for cheap gas prices and soaring lego demand on the heels of your mega movie hit.1 point
