Wow wow wow my friends it's time to stop those speculations based on the back of the box right now. There are always been only 3 modulars at the back of boxes (the current, and the two last sets). It's like that since the 10185 green grocer. Back of boxes: Cafe corner - cafe corner, alone Market street - market street, alone (I list it because... see next line) Green grocer- green grocer, market street, cafe corner Fire brigade- fire brigade, green grocer, cafe corner (bye bye market street ! Thanks for the fish help) Grand emporium- grand emporium, fire brigade, cafe corner Pet shop - pet shop, grand emporium, fire brigade Town hall - town hall, pet shop, grand emporium Palace cinema - palace cinema, town hall, pet shop Parisian restaurant - parisian restaurant, palace cinema, town hall Detective's office - detective's office, parisian restaurant, palace cinema. 3 sets on the back ? Ok. So NOTHING NEW SINCE 20087 points

This post on eurobricks cracked me up: "also looks like a departure from the love story we've gotten in the modulars: PC: first date PR: proposal GE: Suit and dress choice for upcoming marriage TH: Wedding PS: New apartment to start a family DO: wife has run away and husband hires a private detective to find her?"5 points

I would say eBay will side with the buyer if she opens a case against you. I would ask her to show photos and if she's being truthful send the right one to her. One mixel is not worth an open case in my book.3 points

Use coupon code 44461 online. Expires Nov 29th. It worked for me for boxes, kraft paper, tape, and shipping label pouches. So it seems to work for just about all shipping supplies. Stock up for the holiday rush!2 points

The good thing about it is that is blends in more with city like the bikeshop and also it can be a nice addition for displaying the super heroes. This might be a very big hit. Now only thing I am pondering about is the price. Last modular was 102 points

I love it when you have 1/2 a dozen big packages to ship out and they are all for EBay Global Shipping Program customers. I live close to Kentucky, so I know all these packages will be less than $8 to ship and most under $6.2 points

I really like the fine details of the set. The window stickers on the DO are a nice touch. I like the brick as well.2 points

Here's some quick pictures, it's a work in progress. A mixture of our own stuff with Lego models because, frankly, I'm not very good at doing my own thing.2 points

I shared my Printable LEGO Label collection with many of you in the past, but I wanted to let you know that I just completed a large update which includes many common Technic parts. I got a *lot* of comments and emails indicating that you want more labels, so I hope you enjoy. A sample of the new Technic labels. The labels look great on any organization system. If you missed it in another thread, here is my war story knowledge I learned flipping polybags (the other seller is the master and I'm the padawan, but I am learning) If you are selling multiples of the same item (RR poly) you can do the following: Set your preferences so that you can quantity remain at zero (with selling set price using good till cancelled option). You can then sell at a lower than you want price 2 or 3 sales, this will get you on the radar and get people following your auction. You then can raise your price to where you want it to be and it will still show that you have sold 2 or 3 (but doesn't show lower price). You are now down showing "last one" because you only listed a handful. People use their panic and buy your last one at that price. Once it sells, just revise auction to quantity of 1 and you are once gain selling your "last one" This only works on good till cancelled auctions and only if you change your setting to allow it Hope that helps someone here Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Brickpicker mobile app1 point

I especially like this last bit... (emphasis on MF my own).... I personally have no ambition to pay crazy amounts of $ for a new or used 10179, but this bodes well for those of us who hold a faint hope (a new hope?) that Lego will re-release this beast!1 point
-
For many BPers this is very good news. Heres to $74.99 next bump!1 point

No doubt. The people here that refuse to sell online (lol) or refuse to sell internationally are not going to do well with these.1 point

The site is a work in progress. There will be many changes and improvements coming in the future.1 point

Tell her she hit the jackpot, ultra-rare mispackaged Mixel. She should put it on ebay for 8 grand with large lego shopping bags and c-3po prototype.1 point

I'd consider The Hobbit: Lake-Town Guard to be somewhat exclusive and it's price has never recovered once it was released nationwide at TRU. You can still get those for $8 - $9 shipped.1 point

Trust me, if you list it as new, and it's missing a bag, it's on you. If your buyer opens a SNAD case you will lose.1 point

Sorry, no naming names to protect the innocent. Block 'em. I just blocked a cancelling buyer about a week ago as well.1 point

The best advice I can give to people is to keep sets like the SSD, HH and Town Hall. They are exceptional sets and lesser sets like the GE, PS, AA, SC, etc...will not keep pace with the Big Boys.1 point

Kudos for the back of the box. Logical to show the 3 most recent modulars but also gives more credence to TH being done.1 point

So guys, is this the last modular Lego makes? At least this is what the rumour is in the other threads...1 point

brilliant! Can't wait to build it.... I also love the different theme. Detective's agency is sooo much cooler than school...or petrol station or any of those boring buildings every street has Bring it on!1 point
-
I really like it. Not every building can be this perfect piece of architecture. I've been told by a solid source that the Detective Agency is supposed to have some special features, unlike any other Modular.1 point

I just have to say...The TB is an incredible model to display. I'm a huge fan of large intricate sets and the TB is truly awesome for those of you who haven't seen it built. Like a previous post, I never get tired of looking at and admiring it. I've had mine set up and on display for at least 3 years now. This is what I've done to it...I know that its not exactly to scale, but it was pretty fun and I think it looks cool.1 point
