You can put your own terms, they just don't matter if the customer files something. Case can be opened up to 90 days and paypal will be moving to 180 day returns. You can combat some by putting in a restock fee into your terms. It sometimes discourages the buyer from it but then you run the risk of a low DSR / Bad feedback etc. Safest way you could kind of "pick your buyer" is saying they were $800 at Xmas just put a higher BIN with best offer. Not something to high as you want to get offers but not low enough it will get hit to quickly. You can then do some research on the person who made the offer. Look at feedback amount (most all negative/neutral feedback comes from buyers with under 50 feedback, close to 50% of what I have tracked over the years) Buying activity (make sure its not the first purchase in a long time by the buyer) Feedback left for others (most troublesome users have a pattern of leaving high amounts of neutrals and negatives when they don't get there way) Length of ebay account being open If the user name has changed the last 30 days

After landing AA at $20 each I would have needed to buy some new pants as well so the price would have gone up a bit.

You have to figure that a huge number of these sold will get ripped open and built on Christmas morning. Some people want it under the tree and they'll pay for that.

I've been rebuilding my 80s space sets for the first time in 25 years and displaying them around the house. Staring at all those blue (and other coloured) astronauts, it's tempting to turn them into easy cash but I'd sooner donate internal organs.

I'd like to think so but from collectors point of view, what would be a priority? I would say every city needs a fire hall over a mall but the GE looks impressive. On top of that I think the TH will do well in the 2ndary for the same reason, everyone needs a town hall in their city. It's also a great spot for the delorean to hang out with the clock tower. :D

A lot of people think city sets aren't worth the time, but there are some gems out there. I had sold all of my space centers previously, but then reloaded when TRU had them on clearance for $40.xx this past summer. It's been trending up. As far as the monster fighters, if you're looking to sell this year now is the time to do it, and I think selling as a lot is the way to go. I just started listing mine about a week ago, and they are drawing lots of attention/watchers. This year I'm just trying to move my small sets. I'll keep all of my HH and the rest of my Vampire Castles for the long haul.

I understand the attachment. I recommend you take all the cash you made, throw it on the bed, and roll around in it a lot. It will help. :)

Personally I would not want to sell them over 400ish on ebay. Just a return / possible scam waiting to happen with them potentially dropping back down a few weeks later depending when in January they reload them. I don't see them going over 4-5 to begin with them restocking in January.

Went to Lego B&M St Louis today. They had 4 Tumblers. I walked out with one I got for $94 after cashing in my $110 in VIP points. The guy even said "good thing you got it when you did, it's going to be $800 on ebay at christmas." I just laughed and pretended like "who would do such a thing?!"

All this talk of the movie and I hope some of you are smart enough to pounce on the set with Rocket Raccoon. If comic book sales is any indicator, the ugly Raccoon will do a Deadpool on you.
