  1. Theme: Western Pieces: 687 Minifigures: 10 Year: 1996 Original MSRP: $84.99 This set was really fun to rebuild. It forgot about some of the features like the door bars and trap doors. Now on to the pictures.

  2. I wouldn't say "light weight", "efficient drunk" is what I would go with. I still need to crack my last jar. I've heard it gets better with a little time, and this jar has just over a year on it.

  5. This is my first post but I got the last Super Star Destroyer 10221 today at a Legoland Store for $400. When i mentioned the Lego VIP program she said "Sorry we don't partake in the program as we're just a gift shop and not part of the Lego Store. I know you'll be losing a lot of points but I can give you 5% off on this." So with tax the total cost was $410.00. I haven't been so excited to spend that much money in a while!

  13. Materials guide for LEGO selling & shipping Many members have asked for a centralized place where they can go for shipping box information. I'm going to pin this post and update it as new information is provided. I just want to take a few minutes and thank those who wrote the following articles. They are still very good reference materials for the LEGO storage and shipping process. I may develop this into a blog article eventually. 14. Today I went to my parents house and got all of my old Legos. I had the foresight to organize very well before I stopped collecting. These sets are all from the late 80s and early 90s. Most of them are complete with instructions and boxes. There are also a bunch of old Lego Magazines in an envelope. I will be doing inventory, and some building as time permits. 15. You're looking at the wrong ones. The new tires haven't been added to the inventory yet. The rear ones (priced at $4, part 92912) were also in the Unimog and Volvo loader. I suspect the new ones will be going for more than $4.

  18. I've sold both the XBox 360 and PS3 versions. The XBox 360 version is a sealed and shrink wrapped game inside. The PS3 version isn't. I sold the 360 version as New and the PS3 version as Used/LIke New. All buyers were happy and I got $27 for each shipped, just recently.

  21. Been really busy the last couple of months, so this is really an over-due and large update for the last (approx. ) 3-4 months. I`ve built: Mini-Cooper (beautiful set, honestly I enjoy it more than the Camper, though it is excellent as well) Ecto-1 Falling Water (looks gorgeous on one of my office shelves) Eiffel Tower Benny`s Spaceship R2-D2 (I finally, finally got a copy of this set. Amazing display, one of my favourite sets of all time. Easily, it`s awesome!) Been sitting on display at home for a couple months now, and it`ll stay that way, of course keeping up with the dust is sometimes a challenge haha! Also a few Lego Movie sets, Constitution train, a couple creator sets (Cat/Mouse, Bird/Monkey, plane, etc.), and that`s pretty much it. Now it`ll likely be a few months before I post in this thread again!

  23. I called my Gamestop. They were clear that they are not sure if plastic man comes with the batman 3 game or not. As of this point they said normally every game they released has had one but there is no confirmation for this one. There website does not state it either. I said it sounds like Warner Brothers marketing has not talked with Gamestop marketing and they are disconnected. They said they exactly agree. Clear as mud.

  34. I agree with this. And this. I think the demand for this set could be overstated. There seems to be a high demand because people who want them can't get them and are currently paying high prices (in the US at least) for it. But we don't know how many were actually made available in the first place. Demand is only ever proportional to availability. Decrease the availability... increase the demand, and therefore the price. If I was Lego, I'd be moving on to the next cash cow or Ideas hype, rather than trying to squeeze every last dollar out of a $20 set which wasn't even an in-house design. I wish people in the EU were buying this for 5xMSRP, I'd be offloading most of mine if they were. Still only 2xMSRP here. Which is interesting as they were available from EU LEGO Shop at Home with a limit of 5 up until the 5th or 6th August. So you would think EU resellers would have cleaned out the stock to a greater degree than in the US, where regular customers would have had a better chance of getting one. I still get the feeling the drop off in interest in this set could be quite sudden, especially once a new Ideas set hits. People have such short attention spans these days. I can't see too many kids screaming for this for xmas, instead of a cool Friends/Super Heroes/City set.

  35. I honestly believe those who watch "Lost" on Netflix, blu-ray, DVD or whatever media will never get the full effect of what it was like to watch the show from week-to-week. That can be good, or that can be bad. There are a few shows out there that are serial and designed in that manner and this was one of them. When "Lost" ended, I didn't feel the same way about it as I did with "Breaking Bad" or "Battlestar Galactica". I finished those and immediately started watching them again the following week to see what I missed and go through the whole experience again. I also tried to make sense of "The Matrix: Reloaded" and theorized about it. You see where that got me.

  41. Yeah no doubt this is a heavily stocked item among resellers, I have 72 and am aiming to have 100 by November. It could well jump to around double RRP within six months of EOL with it sitting around that price for a year or so while the flippers offload. Either way this is an iconic set and is destined for greatness.

  42. Just rebuilt the Daily Bugle Showdown after my youngest decided that Hulk smashes the lab and the daily bugle. I have to say the building itself is pretty crappy but at least there are lots of "play" options with it.

  43. The following is only my opinion and based solely on speculation. I am comparing this set to the first of what eventually became Winter Village theme. This set reminds me of what Lego did with 10199 Holiday Train. The production run for that set was very short. Then the Lego group followed it up with multi-year runs of the theme. Could this be the beginning of a summer amusement park theme. This set "could" have a short production run since it is testing the acceptance of the theme. Lego may Follow it up next year with one or two sets to continue the Amusement Park line-up. Again this is only speculation on my part. I may end up completely wrong here. I do not own any yet. I am hoping I don't miss it. From the reviews to videos I have seen on this set it looks fantastic for playability.

  44. All right, Kmart wins. Dino T-Rex Hunter was indeed mint Dino T-Rex Hunter (seal code 20R2) Goblin Kings were indeed mint Goblin Kings (40R2 and 41R2 codes) All decently packaged. Not quite sure I need them - they are not really all-star performers, but I guess some variety for Christmas season... Certainly envy the guy who got the wolverine choppers...
