  5. Yeah I'd part it out now. I think the value of the minifigs will drop a little over time as people who buy 2 sets look to get rid of them.

  8. Rather than dodgy this looks out of date. Listed Dec 2010. Was this set still available then? User last active Dec 2012. I have had a look at some other random products for sale, some are current. This site looks like you can buy anything from anywhere on it. If you pay by credit card your money should be protected...

  10. No, I did not get anything. Admittedly you (I have decided to blame you ) moved it into into a thread I was not following. I do not know if that makes a difference. So these last two replies should be merged into the Site Improvement & Updates thread??? Go on, dare ya....

  12. I've actually noticed kids gravitating to Chima lately in the Lego aisle. I even saw one dad and son frantically searching through the bag sets that they now have because the kid absolutely needed a particular one (I don't know which one) bc that one was "the coolest" and he knew "for certain that it had come out already." This was in a Target. About a half hour later, as I pulled into the nearby Toys R Us parking lot, I saw dad and son exiting that store with big smiles on their faces and a bag with what I am guessing had the much needed Chima set in it. It was quite an interesting scene to witness!

  15. How about meetings? Another site I am on we meet in chat room for an hour or 2 twice a week. You get a lot more participation that way...like appointment television.

  17. Anyone else looking at the idea of Lego limiting resellers yet launching a set with a 20,000 production limit as being massively hypocritical...

  21. I could only find out where one of the pieces came from right now. The black piece in the upper left hand corner is either from set 8663 Fat Trax or 6111 Street Race. Hopefully, this helps you in your search.
