  1. Eurobricks posted a link to the newest German LEGO brand catalogue: January-June http://cache.lego.com/Flash/Portal/OnlineCatalog/de-de/Version13/pageflipdata/pdf/lego_januar-juli.pdf July-December http://cache.lego.com/Flash/Portal/OnlineCatalog/de-de/Version16/pageflipdata/pdf/lego_juli-dezember.pdf Nothing really ground breaking in it, but fun to look at. It's also in German, but I don't look at these for the articles.

  3. I need help. I'm super indecisive and want to know what people think about this. The idea came to me so I photoshopped it today and have all the parts (minus a few hundred I would get by pick-a-bricking) in my bricklink carts and it'd be about $250 total to do. I love it...but I thrive on other's opinions...sooo...

  5. My wife gets annoyed with legos showing up all the time too. It's more because she hates clutter even though they are all stored away hidden from anyone's eyes but ours. Definitely not a money issue. Anyways she may get locked in the storage room one of these days. *joking of course*

  6. I searched the sets and found that the sets all seem to have less then 999. Maybe they will get more, hopefully they won't. The Swamp Creature - 534 left Crazy Scientist - 264 left Vampyre Castle - 663 left Ghost Train - 398 left Haunted House - 176 left The Mummy - 274 left Also, Fire Brigade still has 999+ left Grand Emporium - 999+ left Helm's Deep - 672 left B-Wing - 398 left Catcycle (which many think will make the retiring soon list soon) - 335 left

  7. Wow, this started getting out of hand. Chillax people, no disrespect. My wife makes more jokes about it than I do. She uses my Lego as a weapon to keep me in line. I was in a bad mood once and she went through the room saying "This set will be mine, and this one....". Considering she was picking out Death Stars and SSDs, I shut up.

  9. Danke. Well, my father used to travel a lot and I have listened to a couple of his audio tapes here and there. Eh, they helped a little on that part. I haven't gotten a full grasp on reading German but keep trying! I have just always wanted to learn German for some reason.

  10. I think Smooth Criminal is Moonwalker? Something like that, I remember playing it. Stardust Speedway is clearly a Sonic game, pretty sure Sonic CD from the old Sega CD system, I used to have that, loved the Sonic Games. Sweet Spring night is obviously Street Fighter, lets say SFII ?

  17. "PHOTOS: Lego Unveils Life-Size 'Star Wars' X-Ring" I lol'd. X-Ring. I am glad we're going to see LEGO on the big screen. This will definitely drive some sales. Especially in the Ninjago category.

  18. The only question to ask is: "How can I sell like that on a daily basis ?" Lol the guy sold B-Wing for $250 on May 5th. Assuming he got that the day before for $100, that was almost 100% profit after fees and shipping

  20. Hey The Lost Boys (referring to movie poster in background). God I love that movie. I just told Ed a story the other day when I was first getting into programming, I would stay up to all night, working at this garbage and watched 3 movies on a non stop cycle. Jaws, The Lost Boys and The Fog. Every now and then I would throw The Burbs in. At this point, I can give the dialog to all those movies at a moments notice. What amazing talents I have

  21. While I might be in the minority around here, I think Chima will be in the same league as Ninjago. The Speedorz are just as cool as the spinners IMO and are different enough to make kids want to collect every Speedorz as well. After seeing the new Target display for Chima, I came away very impressed. I have started adding these to my Brickfolio when I see a deal.

  23. I'll have to go with the Fire Brigade as my favorite. I've only built it and the GG, the newer releases are still in their boxes and the first two where second hand, pre-built. I really enjoyed the build of the FB, especially the interior, plus the fire truck is really neat! Least favorite would be the Market Street. It's small, no interior, and has that weird gated shelter on the side. I do love them all
