I scanned 6 cases of Series 27 and a lot more than that with the D&D figs and have never had an incorrect scan. i have had a few that just wouldn't scan for me but none that were wrong. I'm waiting on 5 of those myself and I hope that I am as lucky as you. I'll probably just get a rock.

Added 5 minifigs (double VIP and 20% off) to my order at S&H a couple of days ago. Pretty happy with what they sent me. I really only wanted wolf guy and the pirate chick. So far, so good! I'm assuming these scanners are accurate?

  7. According to the guy who runs the program, when talking at BrickWorld Chicago, they are dynamically allocating the entire 150,000 set production allotment over all 5 sets (as a first-time trial). So the underperforming sets' allocations get reduced, and the capacity gets added to the in-demand ones.

I read about Russell James Liberman a bit through some of my father's hot rod magazines as a child, and being mentioned by a motorcycle drag racer as his inspiration. ( Can't remember the racer, only that it was on one of the EasyRiders video magazine VHS tapes from early 90s. ) I can recall some of the pictures with Pamela Hardy standing beside the different "Jungle Jim" funny cars. Thanks to your post, I discovered she very recently was inducted into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame. Far out.
