I bought a bulk lot a while ago based on a few of the minifigures I could see in the pictures. There were Deadpool, Quicksilver, the newer white Boba Fett, some classic Space and Knights among others. Probably 100+ minifigures in total. I finally got around to sorting through what was left and found the two in the picture. I had no idea there was a Ninjago figure worth so much. Lloyd is going for $150+ and Superboy for $50+. Definitely got my money's worth.

Don't remind me....I bought tons from both of my targets locally and several out of town/state on clearance for cheap....Managers were thanking me for buying them all....The good ol days Made decent $$$ off of them but seeing the prices now my gosh....LOL

Walmart black friday deals are targeted by ALL resellers, even those that don't primarily sell Lego. You will notice most of the people flipping these for barely above msrp have very few LEGO listings. I was targeting Skeleton Dungeon as one of my number one set this year but I never saw it break below MSRP outside of Target's short lived sale. I'm sure I'm not the only one. With limited discounts and volume of 10-20K units a month in November/December (at MSRP). Its not surprising there are few sellers on it. Compared to The Office which was blown out at 70$ (most going to resellers). I'm sure the crap performance of past years minecraft sets also played a big roll in people proceeding cautiously.

I’ve also had all 3 sitting on the shelf. I guess I should take a look now.

Happy New Year! Anyone buy anything tonight? I grabbed the Tudor Corner with 2 GWPs and 2.5% Rak. Used a remaining GC balance and some VIP points. Got in and out of the site in less than 5 min. But seems people are having issues....per usual.

Last set of the year, The Endurance, and yes you are going to need endurance to build this ship. This build is not for the faint of heart. 28 bags including my first ever paper bag containing the sails, no stickers, 3 different prints (2 exclusive to this set) and NO minifigures. You begin by building a temporary stand, not the display stand, at a glib attempt to add stability to the set that isn’t really obtained until you reach bag 19. At this point you will want to clean all of the black elements that will be covered with fingerprints because the entire set is sideways SNOT built, no eating Chic-fil-A during this build. The hull is comprised of large curved panels, not bricks, making for a flimsy hollow build. The deck and stairs, also sideways SNOT built, look great as does the engine and captains quarters, which are all removable, and finally the build becomes fun. Only to be followed by the supply boats, not “lifeboats”, which are designed poorly and are tedious to get just right. By the time I got to the sails and rigging I needed a day off and just wanted to finally be done with this thing. The finished set looks amazing and it is one of the few sets that deserves one of those Limited Edition Wicked Brick display cases. Not sure if I will open up one of my Shackleton’s Lifeboat GWPs to display with it. This set is a ship of two tales, the build, only major ships worse: Maersk EEE, the stickers, and The Silent Mary the build. Display, only major ships better than the Endurance are the Sea Cow still #1 in my book and then the Titanic. Endurance is even better than the Imperial Flagship so don’t think I hate it just wasn’t much fun especially following the Botanical Garden that I look forward to getting back to.
