Finished the Pantasy Retro Gumball Machine and it is definitely worth the $58. No missing pieces, no stickers, numbered bags, good build with a great assortment of parts. The only negatives would be the swirls in the previous posted pic on the flat gold tiles which aren’t even seen in the finished build so not sure why they were used instead of just grey or white, the instructions element placement is very hard to see outlined in a fine line of green and perhaps they could have included more capsules to fill the clear dome which although being packaged seperatly still had some minor scuffing. I didn’t do the mini builds to fill the capsules yet, those are in 2 bags #6 because I will probably either fill it with large gumballs or put Lego minifigures in the capsules will see another day. If I told you this was a $100 Lego set because of the huge dome elements and all of the gold and silver lacquered elements but you could get it for $80 you would be thrilled. Build 7 Play 7 Display 8 Value 9 ETA: not pictured is you build a little toy shop with its own micro gumball machine in it and I guess with that and all of the micro builds to go in the capsules the play for a kid could be a 8 or even a 9

Based on what I can tell with the sales on the space minifigure sets, I think the group of us that care about Lego nostalgia is diminishing. I have been collecting Mtron and Ice Planet figs, but have now come across numerous untouched boxes of them which I think will hit clearance now. Also when you compare El Dorado to Barracuda Bay which was 15$ less the value is not great. For what it's worth I am still grabbing these sets because worse case scenario I will enjoy them /:) – Just picked up some more Eldorado today from Target.

Check your Sam's Clubs. Was able to pick up 12 Animal Crossing and 10 HP sets. I left about 15 of the Princess sets,

Air pillows and hot days are not a good mix. I order singles hoping to get FF boxes. Sometimes Amazon will combine single orders and throw 3 FF boxes into 1 larger box. Target and BB just smash the sets in to make them fit. Hopefully it is one of those short shelf life under the radar sets. Kinda hard though when YouTubers are putting out buy alert videos on Eldorado. I said previously like a year ago that none of the nostalgia sets: Galaxy Explorer, Lion Knights Castle, or Eldorado would do well because of their limited target audience. https://www.lego.com/en-us/categories/adults-welcome/article/vintage-lego-sets-from-childhood

That doesn’t bode well for sales velocity, and maybe more and deeper sales coming. I looked on Amazon and it had only 100 sales in the last month where like even the icons cars had 500-2k. I’m a side note does Amazon not list sales ranking on all sets? I thought I remember seeing stats for everything before and now just to be on select items.

My corvettes came in a big target box with air pillows. But the lego boxes were crushed.

It would be a surprise to see an Acclamator and not a Venator here, but they may not want to cannibalize the adult market. But good news, there are a ton of midi scale MOCs on Rebrickable.... and the day after release there will be multiple alternative builds turning the Acclamator into a Venator. The question is when do they remake the Nebulon-B? The Midi scale line has given it a nice pop and I'm slowly releasing them to new homes.

my mountain fortress shipped today ups its for personal collection and cool so I don't really care about resale value and the medieval deal above is a great deal but I want this castle vs the lion knights competition cannons rights, left, front, volleyed and thundered ! one of my favorite fresh prince episodes lol and a good poem too

The decoration is as big as the gate itself. If the rest of the set was an absurd design it would be fitting. But it's an AFOL set that otherwise is fairly mature and realistic looking. Just the two flags and shield against mortar would have been perfect.
