I have to agree. The last time someone asked about how to ignore the Max Profit messages, he was piled on so hard that I felt really bad for him. And kept my mouth shut. I know that writing the code and maintaining it for Max is a huge job and I thank the author. However, I find it very off-putting that 90% of the time that I get a new message notification that it is from Max Profit. If it was possible to block him, like a regular user, it would help a lot. I'm sensitive to the fact that many folks claim to use it a lot. However, I've been here just a tad over 10 years and I don't know that I have ever used one of the sales in its post that I didn't already know about. Again, this is my personal opinion, not meant as a slam towards the creator of Max at all.

Just Sharing a few builds I've done recently. My pops was Rather impressed with the flowers. Viking ship built in anticipation of the upcoming set. The Big Fig Was fun, was kind of a quick build though. Id like to see LEGO Do an ant man version. The Justifier has a couple build areas I didn't care for but I do like the ship overall. It Has a lot of big pieces also . I felt like they gave me a good amount of plastic for my Money(bought on discount). 3in1 castle was a nice build. It put me in the nostalgia zone while thinking of early castle love and the major improvements in LEGO builds over the years. Now bring on the cooler weather sales uptick!

lol, yeah it wasnt a parable, true story happened last month. Max isnt bad! But, like everyone has pointed out, we're all here pretty much hunting for the "atypical sales" not the perma-sale 20% type deals. Especially these days, that strategy no longer works like it once did. So max's utility isnt what it once was. And he buries the more interesting deals.

If he was timid, ppl woulda felt bad for him. He was uber aggressive, cursing @ everyone, and generally being obnoxious. I've never seen more universal disdain for a baller. And he was told his behaviour was outrageous, so trust me, fault was all his own. Let's leave the main deals thread to max and make a Non-max alternative deals thread.

Deals have been infrequent. But honestly since they turned Max Profit back on I can't stand trying to follow the thread, everything just gets buried. Should move Max into its own Deal Feed thread in my opinion.

I would think they would. Each set inside the multipack scans as the multipack and doesn't add the 20 points.

Here I payed 3,45€ for 60x60x60 cm or 2,85€ for 50x50x50 Double walled boxes, but I have to take quite a few pieces to get the price. I use these for everything because i know those boxes are within the max dimensions. I do not want to measure boxes I received, that is time I can spend somewhere better. (Like posting Here - 🤣)

To me best available boxes = double walled. Since they can be pricy, $7 for a 20 x 20 x 20, I reserve those for the categories I mentioned above. Obviously nothing gets sent in garbage boxes,,,

I would use the best available boxes, If one set is getting damaged during transit it was worth the Investment. When i have the factory Box of lego I put those in big box I send to Amazon, and ofc i use wrapping paper (is that the correct Term?)

no one care about labels. 3 factors determine how strong a box i use. 1) $$$$$$ 2) Collectibility type set? Picky ppl the buyers will be 3) flimsy sets (like brickheadz)

I really like it but it is a poor man's version of 71043.. 71043 is probably one of the best sets Lego ever made IMO

I was at the park the other day playing b-ball and there was this one weirdo that NO ONE wanted to play with but he had next, so no one knew what to do. Finally, after waiting for a half hour, slowly everyone let him have the entire court to himself, and they picked a different court to play on. Worked out well for everyone (except that guy)

The new 2024 SC singles are reportedly going up to $28 a 40% increase from 2022.

The sets in the Walmart multipacks also don't work.
