I really think that there should be a law that prohibits anyone from mischaracterizing what amounts to a swift kick in the nuts as the equivalent of winning the lottery. This relentless corporate need to describe every decision in glowingly positive terms is so annoying.

Is it worth the space and money, not to mention it's difficult to ship. I have one for my own collection but am on the fence for this one. I may hit it if there is enough stock left over for black friday where i will see 30% off at a local retailer. They still have 72 in stock today for 20% off but I'm not pulling the trigger.

I'd caution on using Honey. I know a few folks (non lego enthusiasts), including myself, that have had accounts banned for no reason with no way of ever contacting customer service (only options are email and online chat, which they conveniently ignore). At very least, I recommend you use the points as soon as they become available to minimize any loss if this ends up happening to you. I personally have used Rakuten since with no issues. YMMV

Not to put too fine a point on it, but that's blatant price fixing that is highly illegal under the antitrust laws.

I feel like it might be helpful to put together a list of talking points that are pretty consistently gripes we have. That way if any of us do get that invitation and take it we can keep pounding on the same stuff with Amazon.

Has anyone else gotten an invitation to do a feedback session with someone from Amazon about being a 3PS? If you get one, don't pass it up. It's a legit opportunity to give Amazon direct feedback about being a 3PS and they actually listen. The guy I spoke to followed up with me a few days later with additional questions about the issue I raised with him about the restock limits.

Absolutely brutal. Look at the prices, by this time every year past, we have started to see the jump in price. Add to it, these very real sales, shows the demand is ebbing and maybe largely. Boys, those of us who are $10’s of thousands in this… are in for a longer hold than comfortable. I think we will see a lot of sellers panic and dump their stuff as they need liquidity.
