He keeps guys like Fauci on that is both an admitted liar and also accused of much higher misdeeds. The very moment that he was discovered to have connections to Wuhan, he should have been fired. And I am supposed to respect the WHO that kowtows to China and treats Taiwan with such disrespect? COVID is a ****-show, made that way by politicians. It's been a world-wide power grab since day 1, used for political purposes and in direct opposition to the welfare of the public and society at large. Yes, I'll get my shot because I am 60 and want one. But I support anyone's opposition to getting one. If the vaccine was the wonder jab that they claim, that shouldn't make a big difference. Just as someone not taking a flu shot shouldn't affect me when I've had mine. And you can shove that mask squarely up your rectal cavity. Especially if you are going to pull your mask down to your chin so that you can cuss me for not having one on.

I had a Covid Xmas, currently relying on an oxygen machine or else my blood oxygen % drops to 75-80 fast. My common colds turn to lung infections, so I should've seen this "covid pneumonia" coming and it's probably not typical for the 99% that recover. I kinda wish this thread would get locked as I'm fighting to post in it constantly (and now caved). Also, I like and respect people so much more the less I know about them, and this is showing a lot of people's ugly sides. Understandably so, I can't think of anything that's been so divisive, especially between friends and family we all thought we knew so well. There's so many variables in this, it's hard to have one direct argument. Religion plays a factor for many, trust in science/doctors, having/lacking common sense. For instance, if you believe that masks are a false sense of security, than a picture of Fauci with a mask down shouldn't really matter because it's not doing much anyway. The problem in those pictures is the constant lack of "practice what you preach" (Fauci, Newsom, Pelosi, etc), not the science or environmental variables in the scene. These debates don't work well when one is focused on science and the other is focused on principles. BioNTech CEO stated triple-vaccinated will still spread omicron and isn't enough. You can do your hardest to play along, get your shots, get your boosters, show your proof, and then enter a stadium or some place and are still told to wear a mask. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I know we're all struggling with this, but let's stick together people. It's the best community out there.

If this is not just regional to China and is the only GWP then it is another example of the Lego designers either not realizing they are not as important to most of us as they think they are (a hotel key card with the set designers name on it), or not understanding that we want brick built stuff not blankets, tin signs and vip cards. Perhaps there will be some other benefits with the card.

Just be thankful you aren't trying to move into or out of New York City. It's actually worse. I still remember the NY DMV person rejecting our marriage certificate from MO as valid identification because it wasn't signed by the justice of peace. MO doesn't require a justice of the peace to sign it. A duly ordained pastor is authorized to sign it. She said "no." We asked to speak with a supervisor and she simply turned and walked away from us at a snails pace. I didn't know anyone could actually walk that slow. NY DL was the last thing my wife was able to get (required three separate trips to the DMV, each trip was a minimum of 3 hours) as she changed her last name at the same time as moving to NY. So glad we no longer live in NY. Safe travels and I pray your paperwork and move goes well.

I'm sure that covers 30-40% of the people you meet out in stores, at least in my neck of the woods.

I have the Jade Green card 4k buy in. Only cost me about 2200k after the price rise. I get the 3%, 10%apr paid weekly, and Netflix and Spotify reimbursed in CRO. My plan is to stockpile as much as possible with the cash back and other benefits which are earned and placed in the defi wallet for a 13% apr. Maybe it will work maybe not. We shall see. Its seems like a more conservative play which is why I'm going this route in the crypto space.

It's the best avenue I've noticed to move Crypto gains into FIAT and have it be spendable with a few clicks. My personal favorite is to use Algorand as my onramp and then convert there. From there you can top up your Debit card. The debit card has been a go-to the past few months. The 3% will go a long way in the future as CDC becomes more ingrained in the crypto world. Though the app interface is a bit confusing for newbies, once you learn how to navigate and use your debit card, it's a great way to generate passive income down the line.

The vaccinated will be more likely to catch it and pass it on as some preliminary data shows. Since this group avoided earlier strains they will contract it in much higher numbers than unvaxxed. However, with Omni looking more and more everyday like the common cold, both vaxxed and unvaxxed should recover easily. Come April / May this will all be over.

Are we truly capable of stopping the spread even if as a country we had a higher vaccination rate? This thing is mutating and spreading throughout the world and eventually that will make its way back to the U.S. This isn't a nationwide problem, it's a worldwide problem. It seems we are going to have to learn to live with it and get on with life as best as we can.

You can still pass it on. The vaccine doesn't really prevent covid. It mainly prevents hospitalizations and bad effects.

Hit up local LEGO Store. Grabbed 3 London Buses which WERE there last week (I think they had 6 at that time) and 2 Disney Train Stations which were NOT there last week. 20% off. I was actually hoping to grab a Roller Coaster at 20% off, but those were gone. Quite a few Upside Down's and Croc Locos at MSRP in stock. They told me they were aggressively hoping to make room for the new 2022 sets. We'll see if that leads to more markdowns in a relatively short amount of time.

List for lowest BIN new price. I've sold plenty bashed boxes and not seen any dramatic difference in price. If box is very bashed up, open box and sell as opened box sealed bags. Some buyers that want to build the set prefer this as it confirms box contents.

And if the box is trashed - better off selling it without the box (and saving some on shipping).
