  1. The picture distorts the scale somewhat but yes the system scale model easily fits under. I probably won’t have time to finish building this week. My impressions so far: Lots of technic bits go into the build but it’s fun. It’s a fantastic $640 UCS set that Lego tacked an extra 20% onto for die hard AT-AT fans such as myself.

I can’t believe they went through this and reached a deal in under 24 hours. What was the point? Looks like YouTube will honor the $15 credit, too. I’m guessing they paid what Disney wanted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. "'I will give you a name,' he said to it, 'and I shall call you Sting.'" I hadn't planned it this way, but a Bricklink order arrived a few days ago that contained mostly parts for other builds but also happened to have the last main pieces I needed for this model from Build Better Bricks, so I was able to finish during 1 day before the 20th anniversary of Fellowship coming to theaters.
  4. Repetitive yes. But surprisingly I enjoyed it. More so than the 2020 system scale AT-AT. I think it’s due to the complexity that keeps it more engaging. Basically build all four parts at the same time. I felt like one of Santa’s elves tooling away. YMMV of course.
  5. Toywiz is done buying and selling Legos. This was confirmed via email. Disappointing as this was a nice active reference/guideline for me for 10+ years on how they viewed current sets based on their prices. Apparently things aren't going that well there I assume. However gives a small leg up on 3rd party sales.....
  6. 60246 City Police Station available for $72 at Amazon https://smile.amazon.com/LEGO-Police-Station-Building-Pieces/dp/B07Y8TV5PP
  7. I bought one the other day when they popped back in stock again...only to get canceled yesterday. They did let me keep the $130 though....they have done the same thing to me three times on the Blacksmith Shop now also... Not sure why they keep popping back in to stock? 8. Jang demonstrates this by placing the regular release under it, fits easily.

  11. Any need more Whomping Willows (75953)? Target has a few left at $56 (20% off): Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Whomping Willow 75953 : Target
  12. This set's minifigures are going for a decent amount. You could potentially sell them individually and recoup the cost of the set if parting out is your thing.

I have literally no information but wouldn’t be surprised if TLG made that statement to stop the the uproar after the shortages, but i imagine someone has more information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Some of the others charge for unlimited DVR usage, I noticed. I guess it's all what a person finds important. So little 4k stuff, it's just irrelevant for the most part.
  15. Netflix charges extra
  16. YouTube TV is too expensive - but with unlimited DVR, I give it the win.
  17. Deal has already been reached https://sports.yahoo.com/disney-google-reach-deal-youtube-202634576.html https://www.theverge.com/2021/12/19/22845373/youtube-tv-disney-espn-channel-fx-abc-restored https://variety.com/2021/digital/news/disney-youtube-tv-renewal-1235138299/
  18. Target, Walmart then Amazon PM, SC Corvettes 20% off. Set has some issues but good price for personal. Orders arrived. Superior packaging. Mint boxes. Orders arrived in less than 5 days. Some US retailers should take notes.
  21. I have been picking up some older SC sets to build now that I have learned how to embrace the stickers. Mostly from BL Canada the exchange rate and prices are advantageous. Also, I have gotten fortunate with 4 eBay auctions. Not sure why people auction off 5 year old sets but this just arrived 13S6, it was a great pickup and I was surprised the seller actually shipped it. I still need 75883 and 75889 to build so don’t care about box condition if anyone has an extra, cough cough @BrickLegacy
  22. I hate these sh*tty FBM buyers who tried to manipulate the system to get free stuffs out of me
  23. So this is why they have a post office in my grocery store... Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk
  24. Thought it would have been named Macho Man Ooo Yeaaaaa bricks In other news, Disney train retired in lego UK SAH.
  25. PS if your theory is that sets which show minifigs/dimensions are getting restocked/kept around another year, that'd mean #10277 Crocodile Locomotive should be coming back, too (which seems unlikely).
  26. I dunno, instantly gone again.
