  1. I know you are new to Florida, but that is inappropriate behavior no matter which state you're in ....

  3. USPS called me back about my fraud claim. And I did file a fraud claim on their website. USPS told me to call the FBI as it is a cyber crime. Also, Seller is offering a 30% discount. I said no. Then they offered 50% discount and I can keep the counterfeit lego sets (how nice of them). I said no, 100% refund. Then they offered a 80% refund. I said no, "this is not a negotiation. 100% refund". We will see what they say next.

  6. It would be nice for Architecture to go back to focusing on buildings/structures and, dare I say, architectures. Skylines (now Postcards?) should have their own line.

  7. I posted in the Meijer thread, but will post here as well. Meijer currently has a bogo40 sale on Star Wars & Potter Lego sets. This sale stacks with the current Santa Bucks coupons. Pickings were slim at my store, but I was able to get four 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit sets at $54 each, before tax, which is 33% off. Not the greatest discount but not too bad either on a popular set that hasn’t been discounted yet. I did two separate transactions of two sets each using my account and my wife’s account to maximize the Santa Bucks. Another set I was considering was the Probe Droid. After the stack they would have also been 33% off, which is cheaper than the current $48 sale price at Target. Please post any further comments on this sale in the appropriate Meijer thread so we don’t clog the DD thread with a non-National chain store conversation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I’ve met her a couple of times (and her husband too - he played for the Angels and Padres). She’s awesome. I don’t think any of us are taller than 5’5” though.

  15. Hey Brickpickers, please DM me on here (with the link to the item and seller profile) whenever you see a suspicious looking Lego listing on Walmart.com going forward. We are working to identify and de-list all bad actors in toys and games there this season. You can send non-Lego links too if clearly suspicious.... Pretty much as soon as we identify the bad actor we can have them banned, so keep em coming as they pop up.

  16. https://jaysbrickblog.com/news/lego-76399-harry-potter-hogwarts-magical-trunk-revealed/ "What's Inside the box!?" or really diggin how the HP sets are so compact & portable between the suitcase, "books", and now trunk...could all fit nicely on a bookshelf

  17. then LEGO sucks at copying they need to fully commit and produce that Starry Night...the freakin dots art is the lamest lowest denominator IF you're doing wall art as a motif using LEGO as a medium...I would think it's as obvious as day that you design the elements to come out of the wall from 2D to 3D...the bigger "jump" in terms of concept is using a toy to make art.

  20. I was in early at Star Wars Celebration 2015 by the LEGO booth and folks were gathering outside to watch the first "The Force Awakens" trailer on the big screen "Chewie, we're home". Ashley and David were hanging out there waiting too. I got a picture with them and then watched the trailer right beside her, she was giddy. Pretty cool...

  22. Kohls has the AAT 75283 for $30 (25% off). Slightly better than the usual $32 at Amazon and a decent way to spend any KC left. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-4401291/lego-star-wars-armored-assault-tank-aat-75283-lego-set-286-pieces.jsp?skuId=17758370

  23. It is also smart enough to figure out buyer's location vs closest FC with stock. So somebody on the west coast may not see the same BB as on east coast

  25. Wait…so walmart could just flip the order to a 3rd party to fulfill? I didn’t know that. Ordered a few things from Walmart so do I need to look out for this? I don’t order lego from 3rd party listing and typically don’t look closely since I assume items order from Walmart or Target would be legit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  27. It’s a longer hold on the advent calendars for sure, but likely worth the wait depending how much capital you have invested in them. The 2020 sets are fetching $60+ and the 2019 sets at getting $75+ on FBA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  28. TLG just needs to sell this set to sell well in China, everything else is a bonus. Probably most kids there already know about the monkey King and journey to the west so less selling of the story. When I was a kid I watched one of the stories that I recorded on VHS until it went kaput.

  32. I have no dog in the Brickfolio fight (I never used it and don't care if it ever returns), but doesn't it seem like the next step should be you asking people if they would like this new idea that you have or to have their Brickfolio data restored? So far, there is PLENTY of evidence that people want their Brickfolio data, but zero evidence that this new secret idea is going to be of any value to anyone. Not working on something that people are clamoring for to instead work on something that nobody is asking for seems a bit backwards, no? Listen to your customer. No, they haven't paid anything, but they're still your customers. I mean, at this point, can't you just provide everyone a CSV of their data and not keep the hope alive that the Brickfolio will ever be coming back? I get it, it's a free site, and a free service that was offered. But, at the same time, they just want to access their data that you already have. According to your past posts on the topic, you've stated repeatedly that all of the data is safe. So, just make it available to everyone and move on from this project that you clearly have no interest in completing.
