Just got off the phone with a LEGO Shop at Home rep and told him about how I got the retro sign instead of Santa's Front Yard because I ordered a few mins before midnight. I asked nicely to see if there was any way I could exchange the retro sign for the Front Yard, and after about five mins on hold, he told me he's sending me a Front Yard. Yay Lego! 😀

The previous version of this, 60097 (Ret 2017), is basically available at slightly above RRP. So these things don't exactly explode in value. Lots of other better options out there.

There is a blocked buyers list you can maintain. Also, those "weird" usernames with no feedback and accounts created today - those are new ebay users who do guest checkout. Wouldn't be very wise to block them ... everyone has got to start somewhere. Very low risk of getting scammed. I'd be more worried about expensive items that get bought by established users who haven't used Ebay in a while - it tends to be hacked accounts that do the scamming. Amazon's "preferred" seller is extra insane this year. A few extremely high volume sellers controlling buy box above or equal price and they aren't losing it/switching off. The changes and limits to restock amounts are forcing sellers to sell low to continue to push inventory. A much more competitive selling environment this year. I'm curious if people think otherwise or its too early to tell?

Half-Asleep Chris is a rather delightful British maker/cat-lover. He's done several nice Lego builds, his latest below was actually sponsored by Lego. Others include his original train layout and a giant rollercoaster.

I don’t think this set is worth investing in right away. Even with it TOOS in most countries it’s still only selling around 1200 (Canadian). That’s only about $125 over the cost here in Canada and on top of that you have all your EBay/PayPal fees so you might be breaking even and might still take a little loss. Big sets like this are a tough sell until retirement. While it’s the most iconic Empire vehicle, it doesn’t have the same appeal as the Falcon.
