  4. I work for a large company so they we would just hire local counsel to handle the lawsuit if it came to that. It's not that easy for a small business owner and Amazon knows that of course. If it's big business suing another big business the location of the court proceedings isn't that big of a deal. Big business versus small business owner is different.
  5. Same here. The long term effects of having COVID (and not dying) are not yet known, so I wouldn't want to get it or the variant. Just reading stories of people losing their sense of smell for months is reason enough for me. I love to eat, so that would be awful. My family (me, wife, and two kids) will be getting any boosters that we are eligible for. It's our choice.
  6. Right now? No. First, I have a two year old, so I can't get my family fully vaccinated. Second, I prefer to not get any Covid variants until there is more data on long term effects. I'm prepared for a booster shot (I'm double Pfizer) and it's not the end of the world. It's not much different than a flu shot and if that's what it takes for the government to control me, then I've already lived a good life playing with LEGO, so it's cool. :-) Yay LEGO!
  7. I live in a hotbed of Delta variant cases. I've known a bunch of vaccinated people that have tested positive. Also know many more with same symptoms but never got tested for various reasons. I have serious doubts about the vaccines preventative abilities. I don't have any doubts about it keeping those people from dying.

what about the 1x1 white dot? reminds me...We invited some friends to a local neighborhood easter egg hunt...we hyped it up as being really nice...anyway their son finds a plastic egg, opens it, and ...it was a rubber band 🙄 not even a nice one...just one of those that hold green onion bunches. Needless to say it was a disappointment all around.

  16. Wow, can't believe that this hasn't been posted yet. Christmas Wreath has been available all day. First time in stock since December, I believe. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/christmas-wreath-2-in-1-40426?
  17. Nothing new to the idea of establishing the location of court proceedings in agreements. Every company does it. I was just working on a small agreement at work a couple of weeks ago with a company in Dallas and if my company had to sue them we would have to file the lawsuit in Dallas. Logistically it’s just easier.
  18. How many think Amazon had or will have a lot of influence on the election process for these judges in King County, Washington ?
  19. Yeah, Amazon was getting killed with the number of arbitration cases. They thought they would make it harder for people and it ended up being the reverse. The irony… See this WSJ article https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wsj.com/amp/articles/amazon-faced-75-000-arbitration-demands-now-it-says-fine-sue-us-11622547000 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. This may not apply to ebay.ca, but I would not issue a refund for something that clearly was not your fault. If you have tracking # that confirms delivery, you could have brought this to eBay's attention. eBay should side with you in this case, at which point they should remove the negative feedback. Also, you could have reported the derogatory message to eBay as soon as you received it.

  23. They won't waste their time with that nonsense...the mere fact that the only place that you can resolve a dispute with Amazon is in Seattle increases the cost of launching a dispute well beyond what the vast majority of sellers could justify spending. I'm finalizing the settlement of an arbitration claim with them now and there is no way that I would have gone down the road of a legal dispute if I'd had to sue them in Seattle. There's also no way that I would have gone down this road if Seller Support hadn't turned into a bunch of knuckle-dragging mouth-breathing morons who couldn't find their way out of a paper bag, much help anyone with anything else. At the end of the day, they are going to regret making this change because it opens the door to class action lawsuits. If one hasn't already been filed, I can guarantee you that one will be on file soon on behalf of a putative class of third party sellers for lost merchandise that the sellers couldn't reimbursed for because of the abject incompetence and stupidity of Seller Support.
