The Shuttle is still under construction but with assistance from my wife we hung the ISS. The ISS is an already fiddly model so hanging it with fishing line and hooks (drilled into studs in the ceiling) was a bit of a challenge. Big props to my wife for making it happen. I love the illusion of it in low orbit in my home office. 🤓

71718 seems to be done early, got my orders from one retailer canceled and its sold out from Lego. I have none which is a good indicator, that it will be a good Investment. Could buy it for RRP, but In will just move to the next thing. If you can get it cheap, get some.

As a fan of LOST, I will wait until someone has modded it to look like this: (In other words, just give me that Dharma logo)

The windshield is taller than the side wheels so they got that right, even though it looks odd. I think the issue is the A-pillar. They should have had a sticker the same as the body color on the windshield in the correct location and used them to create a triangle vent window that looks like it's part of the door, even if it wouldn't open with the door. I like it except for the front window treatment and it's too blocky at the front of the roof.

nope - i've been gated on most new architecture sets including san fran, dubai, tokyo now for over a year. no sign the gate is going down. i don't buy sets i can't list on amazon.

Well, that's a T2 camper alright. The front windshield's upper angle should be steeper and the bottom base around said windshield going into the sides more rounded but far as LEGO models goes they managed to make something similar without simply repeating themselves. Roughly a thousand more pieces yet the build seems slimmer than the former vehicle by using a lot of various tiling across the sides smoothing it all out. The more I look at the finished product, the more I like it. And the blue (could be medium azure) is a nice calming contrast to the T1's vibrant red.
