Brothers Brick (via Walmart) pics for Vader Head 75304, Scout Trooper Head 75305, and Probe Droid 75306. I admit, I'm disappointed by the probe droid. I thought the pics of it always looked amazing, but now that I see the set I expected more. https://www.brothers-brick.com/2021/03/22/lego-star-wars-adds-75304-darth-vader-75305-scout-trooper-and-750306-imperial-probe-droid-for-spring-2021-news/

Had the day off yesterday and went to my local brick and mortar Lego store. I haven't been in months. Was able to snag their last Book of Monsters along with the two Easter GWPs. I was hoping they would still have the Amelia Earhart GWP, but they said they ran out last week.
  4. It was up for about 90 min. You can still PM Target in store, though depends on mood of sales assoc running self-checkout.
  5. yeah not getting it to work either.. would be interested in one...
  6. When I was a kid it was all about what else I could build with the parts that came with the set in addition to what the set itself was. These NASA sets are clearly for display (18+). The City space sets advantage is they are modular and most, if not all, will work with one another. However, the City space sets are still space sets. So it's not like you can just rebuild them into whatever you want. That is the disadvantage of very large and very small pieces dominating the piece count. One of the first two sets I ever received as a kids was Lunar Lander 565. (The other was 392 Formula One Car.) I rebuilt both into so many different ideas, it was near limitless. I feel like the more specialized these sets get today, the less creativity kids have.
  7. I'm not a big fan of LEGO Movie sets, but I found a 70830 LEGO Movie Sweet Mayhem's Systar Starship for $23.

    Found them! Woot.
  9. Lucky you. Went to my local LEGO store and all they had left was the Easter polybag. No MBOM, no Earhart, no Bunny House. Said the weekend was absolutely crazy, likely all the stimulus checks getting cashed. Ended up ordering a Crocodile online with a Bunny House ... needed the points for the VIP gift with the Space Shuttle :-)
  10. As if Carnage and Venom isn't bad enough, I want to see the mental gymnastics necessary in grouping the Imperial Probe Droid as a "Helmet" ...it's like LEGO got a clearance on this box size

Seeing them side by side, I wonder if it was just a conscious effort to NOT use plates or slopes when designing these new Helmet series, only to be used in certain instances. Now to see which looks more like this!:

To me it looks like they will fall in love and get married. 75227 is more masculine looking. Honestly, I'd gamble it is good enough to fill the void for collectors who missed out on 75227. Both models fail to capture Vader in different ways. If you could plop 75227's helmet on 75304 you'd have a good model.
  13. Yeah, I tried updating but it's not working. Has the loading icon but nothing happens. Samsung told me it's because everybody is downloading at once. Uninstall you say? I'll try... thanks. Edit: Thank you sir, it worked. Why doesn't Samsung just tell me that? Smh...
  14. Uninstalling Android System WebView updates worked for me, but there's updates in the Play Store for both that & Chrome now (dated 3/22) that are supposed to fix it. https://www.theverge.com/2021/3/22/22345696/google-android-apps-crashing-fix-system-webview

    I recently found 2x 60080 I had in a random unmarked box.
  16. Yea, the conversion is over by about $20....best to wait for COSTCO.ca to bring them in at discount!
  17. This Android app crashing thing today. That's annoying.
  18. Just note that isn't always true. YMMV. I've had items on backorder (the Tuk Tuk comes to mind), that didn't require a reauthorization. Ordered on January 10, shipped on February 17. What I did discover is that if you forgot to add an item to a PayPal order, they can't add the item to that order because of the authorization amount. You have to make a separate order.
  19. Agreed, especially since it's very close in scale to the Saturn V. I have 2x 10231 sets. One sealed and one built. Almost sold both of them in advance of this new set and glad I didn't!
  20. I bet this was the main reason Saturn V was re-released / re-numbered (FU to resellers was additional bonus). Saturn V was shown as background (real and silhouette) throughout the Designer Video The set looks great. 👍
  21. Don’t think they have job keeper in Europe. I don’t bother with Australian bricklink sellers.

It's a good bet the empire knows we're here.
  23. The ghostbusters one is weird because playmobil had ghostbusters sets at the same time as Lego. I remember buying a stay puft to add to my modular town.
  24. Never assume what the seller’s buy in is . That would be my advice .
  25. I posted this a couple weeks ago here. It's part of Amazon's easy return. They can drop off their return without a box at any UPS store and its sent back without a box if possible. Then Amazon gets it, cuts out the label, then ships it back to you. Fun.
  26. Check for new listings on ebay. In particular, from your buddy’s home address.

LEGO CITY 60278 Crook’s Hideout Raid cancelled for clashing with brand values.
  28. Most likely retires in early 2024. Tricky part is to guess when the re-release with new number is going to be, late 2024 or early 2025 ?
