Stumbled on someone selling a Captain Marvel and the Asis 77902 on Facebook Marketplace. Had never seen or heard of that set before, but after some quick research decided it was something I needed to get. They also said they had an original Mos Eisley Cantina 4501 (blue box) so I grabbed that as well. I'm still pretty new to the game but thought these two were some great finds. I am pumped. Got both for of these for well below the current market value too!

I'm a fan of the PROPANE powered portable generator available at Costco for $700. Connects to the same propane tank I have for the Weber; flick the switch and voila; power for over 48 hours straight w/ a full tank. Never felt comfortable w/ the gasoline ones (altho this can also handle gasoline). It's a godsend and I high recommend it.

That was my past life. First career. Hence the "map" in my name. Used to use ArcGIS daily. They can do some pretty cool things in ArcGIS Online these days. I don't know how I'd handle it. I was outside here in SoCal last night, and it was a chilly 45 degrees and I was freezing, even bundled up. I can't even imagine single digit temperatures, and not being able to retreat inside to get some level of comfort.

My ex is in Texas...wait, isn't that a country song? Anyways, two days ago, she posted on Facebook "No power, no hot water. We are screwed!" Then yesterday, "Hallelujah, we have power!", and then this morning "No electricity, no water, no food. This is getting ridiculous." I feel for her. She moved out of the San Francisco Bay Area 10 years ago. She says she loved it back then. Then a few years later, she says she misses the Bay Area. Late last year, she posted that her and her boyfriend had a custom house built (nice and big). Looks like she's staying there long term, but I know she misses it here.

Someone posted on Nextdoor that they were moving and put a bunch of stuff in their driveway for garbage/donation. They said feel free to come by and take whatever. One of the pics had two skateboards in it, and I wanted to get them for my kids. Got there 25 mins after the post and as I pulled up, I saw some lady grabbing pretty much everything and putting it next to her car. All the stuff wouldn't even fit in her Jetta, but she was selfish about it. Anyways, I saw the skateboards in her car and was bummed out. I decided to look anyway and lucked out on a box of Lego that was sitting under another box that she hadn't seen yet. Woohoo! Take that selfish lady!

Exactly - Star Wars Black Series, Star Wars Black Credit Series, Star Wars Vintage and Funko will all do great. Completionists want the whole cast. The AT ST with Cara Dune while not as rare as the Hasbro product but it will do just fine.

My used 6691 arrived last night 2 days early! Purchased off BL feb 9th and shipped from Oregon to Maine. Lowest priced avail in NA and its only gone up in price since the purchase. Arrived in perfect shape and the seller packed it immaculately. He found the instructions and included them even though the ad listed no box or instructions. For being almost 30 years old, the baseplates look brand new! If macebobo is out there, thank you very much. If you ever come across their BL store, I highly recommend them. We are predicted for 8-10 inches overnight Thursday and all day Friday. Already have the day off so Unitron will be taking over my kitchen Island.

There's only a select few that are done in march and the rest by summer. Promobricks have put a star next to the ones that are likely to go at march. Nothings set in stone though.

I love it here, but I do admittedly miss the water. Standing on a beach looking out over the ocean releases my stress like nothing else.

It should, but you still only have 60 days to redeem from when you got the code. I don’t think the coin itself is selling out but rather codes for it. I placed my order to get the Castle one a few days after the codes were sold out.

Climate change is real and a "once in a generation" weather event seems to occur every 5 years and a "once a decade" is now the norm annually. I realize nothing it that simple, but the supposed "extremes" seem more and more the "norm" nowadays. I agree with the US dragging their feet 100%, but for another reason as well. Seems like they likely get bombed with complaints when a set is marked “retired”, only to “unretire” months later. They love the “Sold Out” tag, another thought is they don’t retire it fully until all retail outlets have sold their last remaining stock (hello Mr. Triceratops Rampage).

If you are intending to buy 50 personal use, buy 80 or so now. If it retires early, sell the extra 30 in a year or two for $30-$40 each. If it goes down to 9.99, just buy more - I don't see the problem.
