I drive a Nissan Pathfinder. It’s does what it need to, but I’ve not been *happy* with it since I bought it. It’s all plastic, and those plastic pieces break all the time. Earlier this year, my wife and I got our dream car - a Volkswagen Beetle Diesel Convertible. We used to both drive Beetles years ago, before kids. But she didn’t have a convertible and I didn’t have a diesel. So best of both.

I drive a truck, I've only had 3 vehicles and I'm approaching 50.

I've got a 2004 Camry that's still going strong. However, I work from home so its just an errand car. For everything bigger then a trip down the street we use my wifes 2012 Sienna.

Garage is toast. They're overdue for a double retirement. But AS sells too well to kill it off... so Garage will likely go alone. The buy in on it isn't great, but it will have as long of a life as Brick Bank/Downtown Diner has. Which were only on the shelves ~3 months longer than the Town Hall.

Welcome... you are now officially hated by a large chunk of the Lego fanbase. I've found that Mos Eisley is pretty easy to move locally, at a higher profit margin. As after fees, shipping, and your buy in... you end up clearing about 15-20% over RRP. You can move these at $450 locally, which is a higher profit and no risk of returns.

Kohls is adding new sets to their inventory and doesn't care about street dates because they want to sell toys.

Selling small Speed Champions or Brickheadz for $50 - $60 and paying $5-$8 for shipping sounds good to me.

In that context, I meant "buy more than 2". I've found it's much easier to sell through 20 of one set than 2 each of 10 different sets. The challenge is to pick the 'right' set. Buying 2 each of ten is more likely to find a winner, but then you only have 2 of them.

I started out with an investment of $2,000 to get my feet wet and explore this as a hobby. I'll report back with all my noobie mistakes and ROI when I've sold them all!

I have been having problems with Ohio, too (I live in Northern Illinois, so not exactly a coast-to-coast affair). And the number of people who have mentioned how concerned they are because what they bought from me is their kids' only Christmas present makes me think I must be rivaling Santa at this point for the number of children relying on me for a good Christmas. "The stockings were hung by the chimney with care In hopes a scumbag reseller's items would show up there." Luckily, I think the items should make it fine as the ones that are still held up are from November. During the first week of December, I started warning people who wanted to ship with USPS, so hopefully they remember those conversations come December 24th.

I started with this pile of used bulk. Bathed in it for a few years, and to this day, still haven’t sorted it all out. I did get a table for sorting though, so I have that going for me now.

2012 Blue Roadster with a nice 2x6 engine block and dual racing exhaust. I can get about 20-25 miles per ounce of imagination. I was thinking of trading up to a modified Sunset Speeder later in the year but haven't completely decided on that.
