I've had a rash of newly registered buyers wanting to purchase fairly big ticket sets as well. In these cases, I always contact them to confirm their shipping address and intent to purchase…that way there's an electronic trail in the event they claim they were hacked or try to chargeback. I'm at about 50/50 legit new buyers and sketchy folks who never respond. Legit newbies are generally very appreciative of an extra layer of protection in the transaction. In the case of no response, I cancel the order and select "problem with buyer's address". I have yet to run into any problems with negative feedback using this approach.5 points

Walmart put my ass on time out because of this. Who knew getting enough sets to build your own real life size carriage isn't allowed.4 points

The seal code is for when it was produced, not released. Lego doesn’t have 10 year old stock lying around. The only 2011 seal code “1’s” reside in BPer vaults.3 points

Not to start a political war on here, but you have Trump as your avatar. How are we supposed to believe anything you say? lol3 points

Now this is a set they should definitely have accessory sets for. hard top, suspension lift, adjustable shocks, roof tent, aftermarket bumpers, bigger tires . . . At least this includes the electronic disconnect!2 points

Been like this for 6 months++ if I had to guess. I have over 500 pricing errors as we speak and the only time they get fixed is when they fix themselves as the price increases over time.2 points

Another 3 diner's canceled. Another 3 sets of promos in the warehouse. Each time it comes back, the limit resets. To everyone: You'll notice in your order history that if you're not above the $35 free shipping threshold that you're going to be hit with a $4.95 shipping charge. Don't be a fool and call about it and bring attention to this. Just eat the $4.95 as the cost of business.2 points

Oh c'mon now, I am sure there are BP-ers who bought this at 90% off from B&N and made $2 profit out of selling all 20 of them1 point

Are you getting the one that says to contact customer service? My experience this year has been to ignore them. If there isn't anything wrong with the payment source, eventually they try again and it goes through without having to intervene. It can take a few weeks (sometimes a month). But I haven't had any of them not eventually go through. And they were the same as yours -- one order out of a batch of good orders. I think their backend just has an occassional hiccup. One less thing to put your account and purchase history in front of human eyes1 point

Yeah, they're pretty terrible and don't even really sell at competitive prices in order for the buyer to make any money on.1 point

I always skipped the Circle stuff @ checkout knowing it was bad news. Should have listened to my inner-self instead of trying to save $5 bucks buying my daughter a jacket and board game. Target is still taking my $ in-store without issue whenever I find Slave I's and Land Bounty's.1 point

putting back to back to back orders of the same set on the same day can easily get you banned at walmart. ordering the same set limit 2 one time per day every day is how i avoid getting banned at walmart but very slow way of accumulating stock.1 point

Thanks for this random edit. I have a lot to flip. I would prefer to not get caught behind Amazon's restock.1 point

Nice, I had to spent $350 to get the Dickens. Notable sales were Chess Set, Steamboat, and some Hidden Side sets. And they would only do "one per household" on the GWPs. EDIT: random note, my store also had like two dozen 75192s lined up along the back...1 point

Target is fixed, looking into the others. I see a few Amazon and Kohls that haven't been removed1 point

That’s been my experience as well. Multiple accounts and they’ll quickly fire a warning shot. Otherwise, their system is pretty good about rejecting orders for limit violations. It’s nice that they let you know before checkout. Walmart and Target could learn a thing or two. Or at least they could be clear about the timeframe over which the limits apply — like 168 hours for Amazon. I don’t think Amazon cares if you bought 400 beetles. As long as you didn’t use Prime shipping — that’s been the only place where I’ve seen them specifically mention commercial use as a no-no. They would prefer you use a business account. But if you chose one of the delayed non-prime shipping options (or it’s back ordered — so you don’t have an option), then I think the terms of your account allow it. Try it. And if you do get banned, let us know and we’ll name this thread in your honor for your sacrifice.1 point

Hey, Jeff, Wanted to see if this feed is updating. At least on my end, it seems to have stagnated with many Target items displayed that have been OOS for awhile and Amazon prices that have since reverted back to higher prices or gone OOS as well. Thanks!1 point
