Designed as a centrepiece to a bustling LEGO neighbourhood, the LEGO Police Station also comes complete with a doughnut shop brimming with sweet treats and a newspaper kiosk, as well as five minifigures including a 1940s-inspired police officer for ample storytelling possibilities.

  4. Hmmmm, thoughts? Or is this another MOC?
  5. You have to be of a certain BP age to get that reference. It was a LONG discussion.
  6. I was going to post that image yesterday but thought no way that could be it. What a s***ty modular.
  7. Is that a building plus a Micro-apartment? Hopefully those can be removed and stuck in my slums.
  8. a woody with a dickens , now I've seen it all.

Called CS and finally got through. Points applied and they happily gave me another dickens. CS rep said, "honestly, this is only supposed to be one per house hold, but we have so many, so let me send you another one." Nothing quite like a free dickens on a Friday afternoon.

Sometimes you get the Dickens, sometimes the Dickens gets you.
  11. I said the child's name out loud and my 8 year old son asked if that was a Star Wars character. That's good enough for me to like the new name.
  12. I think the larger middle building and the two slivers on the side will be a really nice variation to all the other buildings. All the other buildings are either a full base plate wide or half base plate wide. So to throw in some quarter base plate wide buildings will give a nice visual variation to the rest of the buildings when they are all shown together. But I agree that as a stand alone, the 1/4 wide buildings feel underwhelming.
  13. I thought the episode was great and I'm excited to see where it goes. I don't care if they are crossing animation with live action.
  14. Stores have stock that site does not. My store showing HH, Elf, Temple Fair, ect...

    There’s only one possible winner.
  16. 24x Gingerbread house minis 40337 for $70 each in less than 24 hours on amazon, fbm. 2x Boba Fett 75533 constractables for $128 each fbm within 30 minutes of listing them this morning. crazy times.
  17. Don’t like it. Didn’t like the Bookstore either. Corner Garage was okay. I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve really like one of these (Diner).
  18. So I decided to do a little digging and in California there is a legal requirement or fine if you do not.
  19. Thanks. Still kinda meh on this. Hate the black box. https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/police-station-10278 Don't really have to think about it for 3-4 years. Time to start stocking AS.
  20. Looks pretty bland. Need to see more pics.

If you could just get the Dickens off your mind, maybe you could focus.
  22. Some genuine packing excellence for me today, courtesy of Amazon. I just received the Technic Lamborghini Sian I ordered yesterday. It came within a double-walled outer cardboard box (bookended by crush protectors), which was itself wrapped in bubble wrap, surrounded by packing paper, and then within another double-walled cardboard box. I have never seen Amazon package anything so thoroughly.
  23. Take away the figs and police sign and you can’t even tell it’s a police station
  24. Oh it most likely won’t happen but I’m starting to think the community is more creative and imaginative than the LEGO design team at this point. suppose my thought was LEGO could say, we want our next modular to be a police station. Then there is a submission in ideas for say 6 months, let LEGO weed out the bulls**t and then let the community vote for the next 6 months or so. you’re right it will never happen. Just feel like there is so much more that could happen with these sets.
  25. After the colosseum they still have too much of this hue left?

    Yes, Jaws please.
  27. maybe super YMMV but i picked up a Disney Castle @ 20% off at local disney store. I dint think they were supposed to mark it down, but whatevs
  28. bright side: your with fellow BPers crankin' out dickens together. Thankful here
  29. not expected, same sale BF-CM.
  30. if there is one thing that is consistent is that their website can never handle black friday/new launch of a set
  31. You have to be of a certain BP age to get that reference. It was a LONG discussion. i was about to say we came full circle
  32. Wow that is in N America? Five hours before the sale starts? Another piece of pie & dozing off sounds more appealing than waiting up for this.
  33. December calendar up now. https://www.lego.com//cdn/cs/stores/assets/blt20220779c0563044/12_December_Calendar_US.pdf?format=pjpg Ice Skating Rink GWP at $150 12/1 to 12/24 VIP Holiday Gift Set GWP at $40 12/1 to 12/15 In-store train polybag GWP at $40 12/14 to 12/24

  36. Zulily has a decent amount of sets on discount https://www.zulily.com/e/lego-444682.html
  37. The amount of fake LEGO that is “sponsored” in that list is too damn high.
  38. This is live again at Barnes and Noble - It looks like my local stores also replenished their HP sets according to online, so perhaps they will have the Monster Book in stores as well. But I'd prefer to stay home today: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/h/free-lego-harry-potter-book-of-monsters EDIT: Oops! Sorry I guess I got the last monster book with my order that I just barely placed! poof but I would keep checking back today just in case.
  39. Quite disappointing on the Lego sale front. A few decent offers on at Argos, though.
  40. Hard pass on getting carpel tunnel
  41. I usually price at the first or second jump in price. Usually you have a chunk of high volume lowballers. Some middling tinies, a jump in price with a block of sellers. (Repeat a few times). Usually I sit in those blocks with a matched price. Wait for a few sales, reassess where that listing is at when those items sell. I try to focus on slow sales at first then ramp them up into 2 weeks of massive sales leading into christmas. I've definitely sold way to fast in the past and ended up with no inventory a week before christmas. I've also sold too slow and got stuck behind some behemoth Lego resellers, who cut their prices aggressively as they had thousands of those sets which began to crawl afterward.
  42. Already matching now. My oversize storage is already maxed out. Can't ship more to FBA if I don't sell them. Nothing sells if my fantasy prices stays high.
  43. No, it was 100 points before.
  44. That chess set has been 20% off or more the last two Christmases.

  48. I mean, did she even speak? Lol. too bad Pre Vizsla (Favreau) isn’t still around. That was an interesting character arc.
