Shipping is top notch, they are definitely a collectible company. I've been ordering from them 15 years or so.5 points

I know a lot of people rag on these, but I love them. Can't wait to get mine in the mail today. One nitpick, I'm thinking I prefer red with its discs to teal's dots on top.3 points

Man, a police station would be colossally bad timing. Stonewars has a pretty good track record, recent mistakes notwithstanding.2 points

Now I’m getting alerts for sales, but nothing showing up in pending orders.1 point

Thank you for that information. Very helpful in making my decision in gifting this or not.1 point

So not necessarily Lego sets, but Lego related nonetheless! For those that wanted to get some of the Lego Levi's line, there is a really good deal on Levis.com right now... Right now if you use Rakuten you can get 14% back for the next 11 or so hours... If you use codeword: BLUESTREAK you get 40% off your order % free shipping! (usually a super high threshold) Also, they have a ton of the Lego line already discounted so I got a $30 tee shirt for $8 and both bandanas for about $31 total. (also the 14% back) Note: a lot of the cooler stuff is already sold out, but this is the absolute best time to get any of these as they rarely go on sale. Enjoy!1 point

I think so because I am not seeing any new orders as well since 3:00 am US ET and by now I should have more than just one.1 point

In store i was told once I would have to pay the list price on a GWP if i did the return. They said I could keep it if i did an exchange for another item. This was my plan anyways so i just made an exchange and kept the GWP1 point

Yeah, I just don't see it being a police station...i was more excited about the rumor of it being an Italian themed building...1 point

Nope; I'm blessed with a complete lack of LEGO OCD and I'm not changing that for the world 😄!1 point

I printed a shipping label and it's still showing that the order needs to be shipped. Not good.1 point

I tried to list a few things. Some are showing Incomplete, some aren't there at all.1 point

Many people haven't seen the interesting things MOC'd in this botanical category like we have thanks to theorcking. When those folks do see this (and the bonsai), will be amazed at what LEGO is up to. I cant wait to see what the future holds for this theme. I'd like to think some upcoming sets will be prime for getting a bunch of foliage at once for city/country landscapes.1 point

I don’t find them ugly per say. The appeal here is the shear commitment to produce something that mimics nature—to recreate not just flowers, but an arrangement complete with the nuance and thoughtful design. It’s a departure for LEGO. Some will find it jarring and be put off by it while I think others will be fascinated by it.1 point

Agreed. As far as build technique goes, I find them pleasing. As far as aesthetics go, far from pleasing. As someone who enjoys displaying certain Lego sets, I think if I put them out in the form of flowers, my family may think I finally lost it.1 point

What's worse than fake flowers that look real? Ugly plastic flowers that look fake.1 point

That may be true. Easier to empathize with sellers as "life happens" sometimes. I don't believe I've left a negative since a seller claimed their "dad worked for the FBI" then after the return was complete threated to mail me a bag of used marital aids.1 point

If Lego would release their retirement list at the beginning of each year. I'd slowly scoop up all the winners and rejoice I don't have box walls showing up at my home throughout the holidays.1 point

Like, if they WERE stolen, would somebody admit to it? And if you were dealing with someone who stole goods, would you feel comfortable asking them straight up about it? Lord.1 point

bespin was limit 1 per order at target and many resellers were banned at target which is why it lasted so long bespin would have poofed quickly if target had made it limit 3 or higher. nebulon was available initially in a stealthy yellow lego box as the set photo first night of amazon prime day with some nonsense set name and description to the average consumer in limitless order. i placed and received my first 3 digit order of a single set with the neb b . i think they will both do very well. the selling price cap on neb b on amazon is a wrinkle to contend with . target's insistence on shipping bespin 1x at a time resulted in varying degrees of damage to majority of my bespin boxes so i think minty bespins may be very rare. i could see both sets $160-200 in a year. bespins already selling for $119.99 for me on amazon fbm so $160 is not that big a stretch. nebulon b is capped at $104.1 point

Glad to see Jamie is designing in the series again. It always seemed as though he had a vision for the line. The last three have been nice additions, but they dont really go as well with the prior buildings. More so the Dinner & Garage.1 point

It has been taken down as the Macks are updating/fixing it. At this time we do not have a eta and the thread about it has also been taken down. Fingers crossed it pops back up sooner than later. I am lost without it1 point

Based on the lockdown from earlier this year, what the people desperately need is toilet paper and LEGO. When the 4 horsemen start riding into town, LEGO sales will surpass all prior experiences.1 point

Well, I did re-introduce myself prior to making that post so it feels like I covered my bases....haha But, in all seriousness, great to "see you" again!1 point
