Shipping is top notch, they are definitely a collectible company. I've been ordering from them 15 years or so.5 points

I know a lot of people rag on these, but I love them. Can't wait to get mine in the mail today. One nitpick, I'm thinking I prefer red with its discs to teal's dots on top.3 points

Man, a police station would be colossally bad timing. Stonewars has a pretty good track record, recent mistakes notwithstanding.2 points

You guys can laugh at me for asking this, but are those minifigure parts in that deal just Legoland BAM leftovers that have been touched and messed with by multiple snot-nosed kids, or are they factory fresh/untouched parts? Did they arrive in sealed bags?1 point

I think so because I am not seeing any new orders as well since 3:00 am US ET and by now I should have more than just one.1 point

I think the not valid on sale items language is most likely to cover items with an MSRP over the threshold but a sales price below the threshold.1 point

Many people haven't seen the interesting things MOC'd in this botanical category like we have thanks to theorcking. When those folks do see this (and the bonsai), will be amazed at what LEGO is up to. I cant wait to see what the future holds for this theme. I'd like to think some upcoming sets will be prime for getting a bunch of foliage at once for city/country landscapes.1 point

My Nebulon Amazon order from October 14 finally shipped on Sunday 11/22 and is arriving tomorrow.👍1 point

If its okay to violate limits lightly, set the limit to what the actual limit is and enforce it. Its that easy. Image you have a kid and you let them run around the house with an ice cream cone 95 out of 100 times. But 5 in 100 times you ground them for doing it. Not a very effective policy.1 point

I may be more forgiving than most, but if he refunded you without any pushback, then I wouldn't leave a negative. Depending on his attitude I may leave a positive since everything worked out.1 point

@Achilles I understand your sentiment, however what i don't agree with is places like Target and Walmarts "reseller policies". If Target and Walmart didn't want resellers they would put in actual stock/order limitations over night. This is a very easy programmatic check. Amazon has enforced this for years. Walmart even tried it, then backed it out. Target only wants resellers when it best fits them, unfortunately the way they handle that policy is terrible and ham-fisted. They have this nebulous fraud detection/cancellation policy. The fact you don't know if you are going to get banned or if your orders are going to go through, is A BAD POLICY and a BAD website/user experience. They need to establish a policy and enforce it through the website. They want their resellers, just not certain ones and only at certain times with some quantities but not too many quantities. This screams to me that they have terrible technology and sales leaders making poor decisions.1 point

1. do not order using phone app. 2. order using chrome on a desktop, incognito mode. 3. order a set for instore pickup. see if it goes through. pick it up. 4. then place a combo order for instore pickup and also an item to be shipped to you. once that goes through you should be back up and running. continue ordering what you want to be shipped to you and some other instore crap you may or may not have any intention of picking up. this sounds like bs - i know. this is what has worked for me.1 point

FBM is completely different beast than FBA. If selling is a video game, FBA is like fighting mid level bosses. They are kind of tough but you can predict when they come. On the other hand, FBM is like fighting little peons. They are not that hard but they come in groups, wave after wave after wave. After about 100 of those, you start questioning your choices in life.1 point

bespin was limit 1 per order at target and many resellers were banned at target which is why it lasted so long bespin would have poofed quickly if target had made it limit 3 or higher. nebulon was available initially in a stealthy yellow lego box as the set photo first night of amazon prime day with some nonsense set name and description to the average consumer in limitless order. i placed and received my first 3 digit order of a single set with the neb b . i think they will both do very well. the selling price cap on neb b on amazon is a wrinkle to contend with . target's insistence on shipping bespin 1x at a time resulted in varying degrees of damage to majority of my bespin boxes so i think minty bespins may be very rare. i could see both sets $160-200 in a year. bespins already selling for $119.99 for me on amazon fbm so $160 is not that big a stretch. nebulon b is capped at $104.1 point

Last night I built LEGO 30628 Monster book of Monsters. Really fun built with a large variety of pieces and building techniques considering the piece count. It has wheels and when you push it the mouth opens and the tongue can wiggle. Well worth the $20 and a great display piece. I posted a speed build on TikTok (same name) if that interests anyone.1 point
