  1. Thanks! Tax to WA. Anyone know if the 42093 Technic Corvette ZR1 car will fit on the transporter? EDIT - Found some YT video that shows it will fit, along with VW Bus, VW Bug, Mini Cooper, etc. I'll use this to store by built cars on my desk!

  3. Flash sale from Zavvi on the Technic 42098 Transporter. I've had great luck ordering from them with free shipping and no tax on their Friday and flash sales. Scored some really good deals lately. Use the link below and the code is transporter https://us.zavvi.com/elysium.search?search=lego+42098
  4. Things are still going mad crazy on my end. I would certainly expect that things will start slowing down (as restrictions begin to lift). But I do think that there are many people who have gotten hooked over the quarantine - many of which will be sticking around.

  6. I finally did it. Cut the seals on my first UCS set and pipsqueak built most of it. 11hrs build time on the dot.
  7. Just when we thought 2020 couldn’t get any crazier.
  8. I’ve made some progress, but sadly still building. With work, my other work, kids, and yard work, I’m busier than I want to be during this quarantine. I haven’t fired up my XBox the entire time I’ve been home.
  9. Any ETA on Mexico? It could be good for online prices if the stores start having empty shelves. P.S. I don't understand why every restaurant and store in the world won't start doing remote pay...like Venmo or Paypal. Just let me pay from my car and grab the stuff.
  10. Sold a few used sets on ebay from a lot I purchased around Christmas time. I completed each of them with minifigures and/or a few parts. Used, 100% complete (correct colors, minifigure variants, etc.) w/ instructions: - 7656 Gen. Grievous Starfighter - $37 + shipping (glad I got this out before the summer sets hit) - 8017 Vader's Tie - $55 + shipping - 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter - $11 + shipping - 4502 X-Wing - Dagobah - $107 + shipping New, sealed sets: - 40289 Diagon Ally Mini - $91 - 41615 HP BHz - $50 - 41616 Hermione BHz - $39 - 41625 Minnie Mouse BHz - $41

It reminds me of these bad boys.

So did someone manage to snag this?
  13. Be sure to post pics of this bad boy once done!
  14. bit the bullet and bought one used from Ebay $550 plus $35 shipping...it's been on my bucket list since i first saw one..the price is a little high (I think) but the condition looked near new (which is important for this set) and sticker sheet was un-applied. Like I said, I've been hunting one for the past two years and honestly the price holds rock solid...so the day after I build it LEGO should be re-leasing it.

Just got my Legoland FL. hogwarts castle at RRP. minty fresh
  16. Yes, same with me. The email took me to the UK site so I went to the US site and did the search and it worked. Hence the reason I put the US site link in my post.
  17. PayPal would take 3% fees per transaction, if you hit credit on a normal POS I think the fee from credit cards is like 0.5%, and if you choose debit I don't believe there is any fee at all for the business. Margins are already tight in the restaurant business. after all this you will see more of that going forward. Great opportunity for them.. The big retailers can get fees cut down for the business and exposure. The fees on credit cards were killing the stores already before this with the rewards that they get charged for. That's why a lot of small businesses have gone to debit only and starting to charge on cc fees. They were passing all points fees onto the business which was crushing some of the small ones. Also one reason restaurants weren't rushing to open as they put all the time and effort into the curbside formats and setting up online ordering and contactless pay. That alone had a big cost on them if it wasn't already in place. Running a restaurant at 25% capacity is going to cost more than just running minimal staff and doing curbside.
  18. I did my first LEGO curbside yesterday from Discovery. Upgraded to a handheld card reader. Filled the Sequoia so seemed like a success. regular LEGO stores starting to reopen starting next Saturday. No GWP's or new merchandise until Mexico is running again or they get stuff from EU was what they are saying.
  19. I did a curbside pickup of these, I think it's worth the gamble that they stay oos and I'm currently building one which is an amazing build.

To me, it seems that sales have slowed. Either that, or I sold through the more popular sets, and now have the less desirable sets for sale. I basically sold all of my very large sets, which was the goal.
  21. Used to be applied at checkout.... now a few more clicks... Im sure a lot of people will not use VIP points because of that. Even on this board...

  26. Wow, the sellers market has really gotten strong. Someone just emailed me, wanting me to know that they are interested in my listing - they wanted me to get in touch with them, to let them know if it was ok for them to buy it.

  34. I don't understand why people are even mentioning this. It is missing for everyone. I am working on updating all of this right as we speak. No one else needs to notify us of this, trust me, I know the entire price guide section is missing right now but will be back, better than ever.
