I dont even play anymore... I block buyers like that and move on with my stress free life...
  2. I'm very fortunate to have a store that let's me rummage through the recycle box when I'm there. A few weeks back I ended up with a Cafe Corner, Market Street and a Grand Emporium from the recycle box. It's amazing what the stores have to break down to send back.
  3. Great build. Very sturdy. Easy to take apart in segments for moving. Lots of cool little techniques. I’d recommend it for anyone who is interested.
  4. " Then next sentence tell me they are disabled so spending this amount of money is absurd for them but they are going to anyway." I can't afford to spend $400 on a toy, because I'm on a fixed income, but I'm going to anyways. I'll probably regret it when I receive it because I can't buy groceries. Fruitcakes are fruitcakes. I would not expect this to go well.
  5. I ordered 2, LEGO series 20 mini figures off of amazon. Only one showed up, and it came packaged up in a hot dog bag ??‍♂️ Currently working with customer service to resolve the missing item.
  6. I’ve seen some rumors online about 2020 Potter releases, in summary: 75966 Room of Requirement 20-25 USD 75967 Forbidden Forest (Umbridge/Grawp Scene) 30-35 USD 75968 Privet Drive 70-80 USD 75969 Astronomy Tower 100-110 USD ????? D2C Unknown, likely Diagon Alley These seem realistic, and follow their pattern of 2 movies per year, with these releases following the 5th/6th movies. Unfortunately, nothing about a ministry of Magic, Prophecy room, or locket cave, which I have wanted for a long time. I was also hoping the D2C would be Hogsmeade, but I knew that was highly unlikely from the start
  7. As a far as I know the alternative builds are a pirate island and or a pirate tavern.
  8. I started with the pirate roller coaster in my theme park but then decided to use the coaster parts from it to build part of my space-themed roller coaster. I haven't completely decided what to do with the remaining structures from the pirate roller coaster, but they're great and my initial thoughts were a pirate-themed pizza restaurant to put in my theme park.

You can use more than one voucher per purchase... I just used a $100 and $50 to bring the Bookshop down last week.
  10. I'm sure LEGO isn't above using cheap marketing ploys such as an initial short supply and quick back-order to drum up interest and perceived rarity. But even if that...they at least sold enough to have been successful at it. It's the "Friends Coffee House" approach
  11. Bought the 376 moon landing a few weeks ago. Replaced all the yellowed blue bricks and it looks great. It has all the stickers and the instructions.
  12. I have had no issues going between pro and reg but I continue to sell a few while not in pro. I don’t know what will happen if you don’t sell for long periods of time.
  13. Oh the Memories? First glimpse was a year today.
  14. The older system was simpler to calculate and to use the points as now you have the added step of asking for a code, waiting for an email and only being able to use certain amounts per purchase. That´s all a nightmare for reseller scum who just want to get a quick order in on the already slow SAH site.
  15. You know your local Lego store loves you when you go in to buy something and they say " Hey....we are recycling these but you can have them if you want " and they give you 6 cases of the Hidden Side juice bar promos. I did end up buying the new Chinese themed sets.

Every time I saw the coaster tracks in the 60228 Rocket & Launch Control I felt a space- themed rollercoaster would be fun. I MOC'd these coaster cars to align somewhat with this year's space theme. I've got a long way to go on this project but it was fun to have these cars finished.
