I'm almost finished with the Lowenstein Castle, which is a fantastic build. This is a VERY small run GWP. Its in a generic outer box that has nothing specific to the set. The box has a 'window' in the front and the set picture, number, and barcode are all printed on a cardboard insert. It also has a strange set number of 6322642 that doesn't conform to the normal GWP 40XXX numbering. This definitely feels like a 'hand-packed' set, and I've heard that anything under 5000 copies gets hand-packed. Something comparable might be the Space Slug GWP, although that had a nicer box than this, which means it's probably a smaller run than that was.

I posted this in the Meijer Clearance thread last night, but currently additional 30% off clearance sets there, some stores have signs up, others don't, but it should pop up on an in-store price scanner. Most of the clearance is first markdown at 20% so like 44% off RRP after the offer. Lots of recently released Mars sets, recent Friends sets, the larger Frozen II sets, but also retiring sets.

I looked it up yesterday because the only thing I knew about Manchester United was Beckham. However, I promptly forgot. The history is they are the three players who brought the club to prominence.

I hit the Scarborough location later and did not check whether the price came up on old Blue (they have a lot and the shelf sticker is normal price) because I’m happy with the ones I have, but someone in the warehouse found a Harley Quinn cannonball and a few of the Last Jedi At-St sets that were on the shelf suddenly. Neither rang up at the cash but The Quinn set had a physical price sticker for $30 which was good, while a manager eventually came back on the star wars set at retail price so I left that alone.

Sell the stadium IF you don’t like soccer. IMO the statue will be $150-$200+ sooner than later.

Nice! Only 5 per store... those trinity united statues are GOLD.

Checked my Local store today.. Found Set 75928 Blue's heli Pursuit on For $19.94. Not bad considering they started at $50. Also saw a few others on sale but didnt really have time to go through them. (And thats the last time i bring my wife shopping with me.. ) Lots of Lego Movie 2 stuff which Ive stopped buying.. Looks like they are the Next nexo knights / chimas of the year.

Been able to order 999 on Amazon for a month now too. I don't think anything retired this year. 95% of all "retired" sets still in stock on Amazon or Wal-Mart.

What I do know is that I paid retail for a few of these, so here's to hopping that pays off.

Finished this up over the weekend while watching the games. It's huge. Really enjoyed it. One downside, it's too slow to chase the cat with.

true dis...I think when Rachel's character posted an IG pic from the set...that started the obsession w/ the Central Perk set; which had an incredible 3 month run of x2-x3 RRP until recently.
