  1. I just had this discussion with a coworker this morning. TLJ will just disappear and people will just go from 7 to 9. I know I will.
  2. Let me correct for you. I already own 19 other versions of these movies.

Same here! We watched ROS yesterday at noon and put on TFA when we were wrapping presents at night. It's better after having seen ROS.
  4. I'm on board with this. I'll have trouble watching TLJ again, but I'm really enjoying a rewatch of TFA right now. I'll also still hold the OT as it's own thing.
  5. I've seen it twice now. My take? Thank goodness we salvaged a great ending to a very inconsistent and frustrating trilogy. I hated episode 8 and I view 9 as a retcon and remake of 8. The first half felt very fast paced because Abrams was attempting to make a trilogy in 2 films. Fans can now basically ignore what happened in 8 other than Luke getting **** on. I liked the thing about all the past Sith lords living in Palpatine and the Jedi ghosts helping Rey make the final push. I guess she's truly a Skywalker because she has the soul of both Leia and Ben inside her. Leia finally lived up to her potential by defeating Palpatine through Rey. I loved when the fleet of friends arrived, and when Luke FINALLY lifted up the Xwing. It was nice seeing the characters from episode 7 back together again. Well done Abrams!

I wouldn't mind another TIE remake if they added that functionality. I think it would sell really well.
  7. disney minifigs series 2 @0.99 Unfortunately my Frys is out, but maybe someone will have some luck? Sorry if this was already posted. https://www.frys.com/product/9862045

Saw it yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hit me in the feels. I actually feel the need to go watch it again in the theater which is something I haven't done with any of the newer movies. When Red 5 was force-raised out of the waters, my heart jumped because I have a bunch of 10240's I need to unload.
  9. So that means MSRP +44% two years after EOL. Doesn't sound that good for UK either.
  10. You could be a peach and be one of those slimey guys who swaps garbage out with unsuspecting ebayers. Joining the ranks of turds like Toycentric...da da

  12. They gave C3PO his best dialogue since Cloud City ESB. Poe also had snappy dialogue throughout. Geriatric Lando was fun. Mando TV show already satiated the thirst for good SW content... this was all basically gravy. Acceptable.
  13. Getting old sucks. I put my store on vacation earlier than planned this year since I need sleep
  14. Reminded me of naval variants of certain fighters. Air Force planes don't typically have folding wings but Navy does. On a side note, how many of you were like me and trying to figure out how to modify our LEGO Ties so its wings can fold like that? lol
  15. I took the picture first and then arm swept. I did let some grandmas have a few for their grandkids. In all, 40 of them.

This finally took off in the US due to the new movie. I just sold through about 8 in ~48hours at $29.99. Buy in was in the ~$9.50 range, so it finally paid off.
  17. I did a DOUBLE wtf when I saw Los Pollos Hermanos in full Empire garb.
  18. maybe Yoda was once way more powerful & couldn't do things like force healing any more cuz he was an old ass man by the time we see him in I - VI. I dunno just throwing crap out there.
  19. It's actually unused art from The Art of the Force Awakens. Doug Chiang came up with it. Pretty awesome book.
  20. I did do a wtf when I saw that. That was new and different.
  21. Anyone else like the folding panels of the tie fighter? That that was pretty cool.
  22. Saw it last night and left feeling very satisfied with the ending and how it all wrapped up. Now that I've had time to stew on it for several hours I understand how difficult wrapping up the 9 movies would have been as the saga if we take it on a whole really was a Skywalker AND Palpatine story. The visuals were amazing, acting was excellent and my only major gripe was in line with some others that it really was pretty frenetic and a little too fast-paced within the story. Will definitely be seeing it again.
  23. Watched it tonight, I liked more than I disliked. Pretty much the opposite feeling than I had for TLJ. There are still a few parts I don't like, but I guess I'll have to live with it. The pacing is frenetic, so to do this story right it should have been 2 movies instead of one. It's just non-stop, jumping from planet to planet, over a short period of time. I wish it would have taken place over a few weeks, rather than all within a day.

Every time I saw the coaster tracks in the 60228 Rocket & Launch Control I felt a space- themed rollercoaster would be fun. I MOC'd these coaster cars to align somewhat with this year's space theme. I've got a long way to go on this project but it was fun to have these cars finished.
  25. My Steamrollers and Gorilla Strikers are ready to go.
