  4. The MISB only collectors have mostly left the building. Sometimes in the middle of the night, I will wake up, go downstairs (to my storage area), and kick my LEGO (just because I can).

  7. Built the gwp tree and motorized my train last night. The tree is great, much nicer than the short fattie that comes with the toy shop. Train runs smooth when the cats are not smacking it off the rails.

  21. For the love of Lego, A few friends and I popped the seals on an ADP Saloon last night.(as well as a beverage or two). Shaping up to be a good build. As I've read somewhere before a nice bright light will aid a lot in this build. Those two brown colors and some placements can get tough on even the sharpest eye. These sets do feel like special edition sets, friends impressed with packaging and manual quality for sure.

  23. That's how I feel about a majority of the 2020 City line, maybe more folks will seek out the retired sets. The new City sets look very mediocre and appear designed for 4-5 y/o range. After seeing the pictures I wondered if Lego were focusing on younger kids and AFOLs (with a focus for ages in between being star wars and ninjago) but that theory falls flat with this modular, it would seem. Some love, but little.

  24. I think I will load up on assembly square though when the deal strikes.

  25. It’s not bad, just nothing exciting. Should we expect mediocre from the modular theme moving forward? It’s not like they run out of creativity. The ninjago city is 10x better as a city building.

  27. They are our customers, they have much more (generally) disposable income and don’t need to “hunt” for deals or have the time to search stores. I’m sure they are not lazy in their occupation, and as long as they have the money to spend there will always be a market for us to make a few bucks.

  28. Difficult to get here also. Only available at LEGO Shop at Home for first year , then had short limited run at 1 retailer. Took me the entire life cycle of the set to get the numbers I have at discount. Took some imagination to get that discount too.

  40. Care Corner is complete. Total cost was $136.03. This doesn't include the spares from bulk lot purchases in the past that cleaned up most of the bricks... because old spares are free, right? I had purchased a $155 lot that had the first floor, but it arrived smelling like death and cigarettes, so it went back. The real winners of the picture though are the dragons from our "let's take apart all the dragons and build them again" weekly fun. The two headed dragon my toddler inspired "two head's on the dragon, daddy" earned the spot on the Cafe Corner.

  41. Built the candy shop to go with my (yet to be built) hot shot shooting range. This was also designed by Brixonator. Turned out nice. I think it will fit well in my Lego carnival (also yet to be built :p)
