Investors, I don't often chime in on here anymore to give my two cents (think it's been since like 2014) but one of the things Ed just said is super important and not factored in enough by your average collector/investor. Lego sets don't always appreciate. There is a sweet spot to sell, Ed and several other vendors we've worked with have missed that sweet spot on some of their items in their collections/while also allowing condition to slowly worsen on older items. It is very very hard to properly maintain and store items for 5-10+ years and keep them in decent condition. Seals are not meant to last forever, especially on larger sets with 25+ pounds of weight pressure on them. Watch how you stack things, even on shelves. Never palletize for long periods of time. Don't sit on vintage Star Wars sets for 20 years. also what are you talking about Ed, no one flips that fast

I think people under estimate how well this is going to do. There were a billion of these made but the demand for this set is equally as great. We may think 50, 100, 400 of this set is a lot but they are selling 1000's of these a day.

Funny! I just watched (from my Ring doorbell) the FedEx guy drop off about 15 large packages on my porch. And UPS hasn't been to my house yet. And that's just what I ordered Friday or earlier. I spent a lot more money this weekend too...

Handling holiday orders at nights + incoming stuffs from CyberMonday + day job when I have a splitting headache and coughing like crazy

Main point of a thread like this is that there options for people like us. I was great at buying. Problem was that I never really thought about selling, that it was a rainy day project. Thousands of sets and a decade or so later, I had my basement and storage office filled at work and wanted to sell my house and move. The LEGO sets became a burden. What's worse, they were slowly deteriorating and some were losing value. What was a burden, became a boon and I was able to clear out my house and storage and buy a piece of property with it. I even reinvested last year and that is paying off this year.

Was just in Target this evening and found the following in-store deals: - Most TLM2 sets were 50% off in store. - Also found Ferrari Ultimate Garage 75889 @ 50% off. - And at least a sign for Destiny's Bounty 70618 @ 50% off. Shame I couldn't find the set. Target lady was very nice trying to help me find it, but sadly someone must have found it before me. Forgot - Porg was @ 50% off as well.

Agree. I work with the company Ed, Jeff and Thanos do. Certainly worth considering the consignment option if you would like to move your sets faster. One thing I can assure you is your house will be more spacious. PM me if you want to know more my experience.

I've been placing one order after the next x2 for instore pickups. I have not overlapped the same item before it ships out. I'll order again if the item is in stock after it ships. Not sure it matters though. A lot of my orders take at least a day or two to ship out which sucks. No orders have been cancelled. Perhaps someone braver than I can chime in.

I also use the same guy that Ed and Thanos deal with. Totally changed my game. It not only freed up a ton of space, but time too, and his whole team is super nice and professional and they came to me to pick everything up. Allows me to spend more time with my family and not pay so much money to king Bezos...

Crash? LOL...They sent my Batmobile order to another person. Customer service says they cannot stop it and will replace the Batmobile, but not the tree or mini-Batmobile. Pretty much sucks.

This episode reminded me of the old Hulk show with Bill Bixby. He gets to a new town, meets a nice girl. Thinks he has found a safe place. Then stuff happens with the green guy and he is forced to move on. Hopefully every episode will not follow this pattern.

My only complaint about the episode was the AT-ST (which was cool to see by the way) standing in front of the trap and not firing away on the villagers. It could've just unloaded all over the village and the battle would've been over. That part didn't make sense to me.

Emerald Night arrived and didn't resemble the Dusty Night from the listing. The seller cleaned it up before sending it on its way which earned 5 stars on top of the ridiculously low price.
