Not necessarily. She was in the trench/pool so there was no good shot from its angle (though it could have just shot the hell out of the ground in front of her). Stepping back would have made it harder to hit her. I'm guessing they wanted to move closer to stomp her, the assumption being all the pools were about a person deep.4 points

Looking at some of these trends gives me pause also. There are some really good sets in these sales, but I am noticing longer hold times for inventory I purchased in past years. I thought LEGO was gated on Amazon yet there are more and more sellers every year.3 points

I don't post this to poop in anyone's Cheerios, I am glad there's lot of happy folks buying up a lot of these deals. But I am having a hard time really feeling most of this year's deal sets, even at 50% off. Maybe it's just kind of a bad year in general for some of this stuff, but very few of these deals have really excited me over the last few days. I mean, I know that most of these sales are to blow out stuff the retailers don't want anyway, and we've seen how Target is changing how they handle their Clearance items. But, just looking at the stuff I bought last year during these Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, there were a lot of already winners (with a couple turds thrown in). This year, it seems to be a huge pile over mostly overhoarded turds, stuff like Lego Movie 2, Arctic Theme, Friends Racing Theme, Jurassic World and SOLO Movie crap with low demand and high stockpile rates. Many of these sets already have 100+ sellers on Amazon BEFORE these sales. As example winners from last year - we got winners like Corvus Glaive, Bus Station, Samurai X vs Killow, Nether Railway- etc. Maybe it was just a relatively weak year in general because of a large amount of weak themes and sets, but - with the exception of the Target Ferrari Garage/Capitol Building, I've had a hard time getting really excited about most any of these sets - Very few obvious long term winners. And Shop@Home running out of Promos semi instantly has hurt my buzz on even most of those deals at 20/30% off. The extra thrown in set or two makes a big difference. Seems like a great year on deals for actual builders and shoppers, not such a great season for collectors/sellers. Hopefully I am proven wrong for all of our sake(s)?.3 points

I thought the tactic for baiting the walker made sense, but I also agree it should have been blasting everything in the mean time, although I'm not sure if ammo is unlimited. It really doesn't have to make complete sense though we're in space with a little green alien. Gina Carano is listed in chapters 7 & 8 on IMDB so we should see her again assuming that is correct.2 points

I ran into an issue with Fed Ex, their driver claimed my home address didn't exist. Once that happened, the tracking info became very confusing. I could no longer tell where the package was or where it was going. I contacted Fed Ex immediately. It took them three days to straighten it out and I eventually ended up with my package. Personally, if you know it's Fed Ex, I'd call them ASAP and make sure you get the details into their computer in the event you need to file a claim or something.2 points

Damn, you are a buzz kill. If you can't make money on basically 60% off, not sure what to say. Even if its a mix for builders, sellers, etc, overall i think it's been a pretty darn good year. I don't want this to become some 50 page debate, if so, create another thread and post it there so we can concentrate on the time we have left for deals.2 points

I was a pure Star Wars buyer back in 2011 until 2014. I only have 2 UCS sets left in my inventory and some smaller stuff. I don't think I'll ever buy anything Star Wars anymore unless it's 50% off UCS stuff or good, desirable Episode 1-6 play sets that people buy before christmas like a new Republic Gunship, MTT, Star Destroyer etc. buy in 50% off, otherwise I won't touch those boxes.1 point

I just called them and they said they it'd be delivered by end of business day today. The rep on the phone was confused why the tracking was duplicated and he suspected it was a clerical error that someone made.1 point

Lol I did not get it either. Also, the way woman soldier bait the AT-ST did not make sense to me. If you have someone shooting your AT-ST from up close like that, wouldn't you step BACK (not forward) to get a better shooting angle?1 point

Walmart is was 35% off. LEGO Shop at Home is 30% + 5% VIP. There's a much higher chance of Walmart cancelling my order than LEGO Shop at Home. And for their shady, arbitrary and unexplained cancel policy, I'd rather not give my business to Walmart. And those of you who're still 'uncancelled' should stand in solidarity with your misfortunate brothers and sisters.1 point

Thanks to the BP community being on the ball this morning about the Target sale and it was a somewhat expensive day for me. I finally got my half price Kessel Run Millennium Falcon and did not even have to hide it in the furniture section (I have not done that and would never do it)! I followed exciter1's preferred method for the bar codes up in the cart. It does save time.1 point
