The reason I figured it was PAB is because there has been a recent surge in this piece available on BL so just assumed that for those that are fortunate to be next to a PAB store, this is why they suddenly have 10,000 of these. I simply ran out and wanted to buy enough so I wouldn't run out again anytime soon. The marking is disappointing, but I'll just mention it in my listing so the buyer wont be turned off when they receive it like I was initially.

I just got the bag of LBG 1x1 tiles I got directly from a Lego Discovery Center PAB wall, and they have that same side gate mark and bottom shape. Sorry for the poor cell phone picture quality, I didn't feel like getting my camera out.

It depends what your goal is. Resale, buy a box. Collect a series (depends how much your time is worth and how well you can smoosh. For me, with either goal, I'm always buying a box. I can smoosh at home if I desire to make sure, and not have to be the old man in the toy aisle feeling up poly bags.

@MinifiguresPluswill probably offer whole boxes or complete sets. It's not worth buying a whole box to me. I think they're overpriced to begin with and they've been lingering at my local store so they may get discounted at some point. Looks like they've already offered the pre-order.

It does not work with "Toys". I tried to use it on my first Amazon return to Kohl's... was super stoked to get some clearance Lego's with another 25% off. Walked away very disappointed when the cashier pointed out the small print. Basically, the return coupon is good for clothes only. If you get it to work with toys then it's a definite YMMV.
