  1. Today I am going back to work after an 11 day family vacation. This morning I am still trying to work up the courage to open my work email inbox. We rented a motorhome, and drove to Yellowstone National Park where we stayed for 4 nights, then to Custer State Park in South Dakota for three nights. It was a great trip, and a first of it's type for my wife and kids. I'd been to Yellowstone twice as a youth, but never as an adult. So many natural wonders to see in the park, and an amazing amount of wildlife. And now, reality calls......

This could literally be the set list from any episode.
  4. Ok first of all google “amazon seller forums” and read them every day. There is a lot of good information there and you would already have your answer to this question. Here’s what your options are Refund 50% of the item price because it was returned “materially different” and withhold the return shipping and original Shipping fee. If you are also a professional seller ($40/mo fee) you can file a safe-t claim for the amount refunded. You will also want to report this buyer, the forums will have step by step instructions for that. You run the risk of the buyer leaving negative feedback regardless of what you refund, even if refunding in full. The buyer can file an A-Z so you will want to get good photographs of the product you sent, and the return to defend yourself. Have all your tracking info and dates ready. Even though amazon can easily look them up, the person who looks at the claim wants to close it in the quickest amount of time so they will only look at the information you provide or fail to provide. Keep in mind amazon doesn’t even follow their own policies all the time so even when you do everything correctly you may still lose. In that case appeal and try again.
  5. Barnes & Noble email saying that the HP wave will be exclusive to their stores first. I assume that means exclusive to them and LEGO brand stores. Promo maybe or will they just find another stash of Bricktober 2018 Harry Potter minifigure 4-packs to give away?
  6. Lego is going to give us even more stickers after people complaining about this.

  14. Unless I missed something along the way, SAFE-T claims, are only applicable to: FBM (Fulfilled By Merchant): File a reimbursement (SAFE-T) claim FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) is not eligible.

Post-Disney's treatment of SW I agree with everything except the last sentence. I challenge anyone to read the Timothy Zahn trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and Last Command) and see if they wouldn't want to see those made into movies. If only Disney had just recast the core actors and made those movies, people would be clamoring for more. They effectively did it with the Solo movie.
  16. Refund and move on unless you want to get into an A-Z/neg feedback fight with someone you already know is willing to lie over a $40 sale Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  17. lol - bunga bunga is that u? or maybe your robust verbosity indicates dogtamer posts among us... amazon seller forums are highly entertaining and educational.

  21. "Time" is not the issue - I purposely have no meetings today. "Courage" is the key. I think I got rid of most of the junk already, now on to the real work. Have a great day everyone! Oh, and need to get two orders packed and shipped to people who bought while I was on vacation and didn't mind the shipping delay.
  22. Took the plunge and finished sending in my first couple of FBA shipments, so I could focus more on my BL store. It was tough for me to let go, because I do grow attached to my LEGO, but it gives me a good excuse to tell myself I’m not a hoarder.

  27. Yeah. We went last year on Sunday but got there late and had only 1:45 to look. You’re right it was quieter and less crowded but my daughter petered out after about 30 minutes and then the whining started... Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  28. I would like to understand. They took two sets all the way to Europe to raffle, and then they "were deemed too valuable to use in the raffle", exactly who "deemed" them too valuable, the same guy that brought it to Europe for the raffle, or the actual raffle people? Or did they just change their mind once they got to the raffle because they could make more money on the secondary market (Ebay, Charity sale, etc...). I don't know but it just sound weird to me that someone would advertise a raffle and then decide to outright sell the would be raffled products...sounds bizarre and omnious.

  34. Received my monthly $25 from Shop Your Way today and went into Kmart to buy the lonely 21144 Minecraft farm Cottage that I spotted there earlier in the week. Unfortunately somebody beat me to it. In Revenge I ended up with $120 MSRP worth of Lego for $0.84. Friends and brickheadz.

I am torn. On 1 hand I want to play the original & prequel Trilogy LEGO games with updated graphics, but the game contains **** from the other 3 movies. It is LEGO though, so I should be able to play as an Ewok and destroy general purple dress over and over and over again...

Duh. Obviously. Liberating oppressed animals and putting your crewmate in his place with cattle rod are much more exciting. I can't wait to see which animals the new trilogy crews are going to free in ep IX
