  1. What's really cool about that gif is if you look really close you can see lordoflego being left in the dust...
  2. B&N event. Had directions for the rescue rocket. Looked at the picture from the email to build the dream house.
  3. I took a break the other night from writing report cards and, lured by the eBay Bucks offer, did a quick check of what the latest LEGO posts were on eBay. One of the first postings was a 10224 Town Hall for $165 plus shipping! No instructions, only 3 of the mini figures, and clearly missing some parts in that clocktower, but it arrived today and otherwise it is largely complete. Its certainly not the insane $40 Green Grocer posted above, but I'm excited to get the Town Hall for under $190 even if I'll have to order myself a set of instructions and replace some missing parts (I'm in no rush on the mini figures). One of the classes I teach is Civics, and my grandfather worked in local government for awhile, so I've been hoping to to add one of these to my Modulars for several years now!!
  4. I think the one one the right is from #5762.
  5. The one in the middle is 76022
  6. On the left looks like from SW 7259 arc 170 fighter
  7. Dang. That’s impressive. Even has a windshield like my Chevy above! Here’s one I used to see all the time:
  8. The plate says Chevrolet lol
  9. Sure that's not a radio flyer?
  10. I think it could look really good with some minor modification.....color scheme and basic shaping is good..... I may get one and attempt to make it look like a sensible train....
  11. I´m also going to market mine as the original version in original box, special limited edition T1 of T100.000.000
  12. I wish they would have offered this one up for early VIP access instead of the Flinstones.

  14. The boy and I learned a valuable lesson so it was worth it in my book...and $77 ain't bad. Honestly I had never seen 42039 before until I saw it on CL a month ago...when I checked the price at $60, my jaw dropped and thought it was too good to be true...took a chance and after 3 subsequent meetings/deals...I ended up getting to know the AFOL seller a bit...nice guy who is simply looking to downsize...I intend to get some "like new" but used modulars he's looking to sell for $80 ea...I just can't decide on BB or Pet Shop.

  16. So after the first one came back as a bootleg, and was returned for a refund, I decided to go on a hunt for a real GG. Started typing anything and everything into eBay, at 2am while feeding the baby, and ended up misspelling "Grocery". A listing that had been sitting for a few days at $59.99 OBO. I low balled them (instantly regretted it with fears that someone else would randomly find this listing) and the offer was accepted within a few minutes. The next morning I looked at the advertisement and saw that it had been removed from eBay "This listing has been removed"... the seller account gone as well. Figured I really **** the bed this time around... listing gone, seller gone, and offer accepted at 2am.... Friday it arrived, missing a few pieces and all the figures... but it's genuine and fits in just fine.
  17. $74.50 free shipping... SOLD. My question answered. The new unanswered question... how high I COULD have sold it for. Don't want to be greedy, I'm actually very satisfied.
  18. Sold a sealed 7663 Sith Infiltrator on OfferUp. Just trying to move some old turds. Buyer asked me to open it and send him a picture of the contents. It had been sitting on Bricklink forever, so I figured I would crack it open for the chance to unload it. Grateful the buyer asked me to open it, because this was inside: To think, this has been sitting on a shelf in my basement for nearly a decade. Nearly gave it away in a $25 infiltrator.
