Happiness is.......when you buy a massive LEGO lot that you that was a great deal to start with, but then get home to discover there is a GG, CC, MS, AND MARINA BAY SANDS hidden within the boxes (all used). Needless to say, my back is sore from all of the cartwheels I was doing last night. My kids thought I was insane!! Good stuff......14 points

Yesterday I placed 15 orders of 2 Benny / 2 Mayhem each within a two hour window between 2pm-4pm central time. 60 total BH. This morning I woke up to an inbox full of shipping notifications. Everything appears to be awesome.9 points

I think this whole thing is an experiment. This was a nice opportunity for LEGO to try something like an exclusive set(s) and see what the interest was. They started small and threw Target and Wal-Mart a bone in the process. It also solved many of the complaints from consumers who cannot go to a Comic Con to buy numbered sets. I believe you will see much more of these types of releases in the future.7 points

should realistically be able to get 2x/3x for 1 or 5000. When I had the D23 Star Wars Die Cast sets few years back I got $999 on some of the good numbers like the movie years and stuff and $499 for just regular numbers. Sadly even though I had 460 out of the 500 made I didn't get number 1...5 points

Pretty baffled how this thread is 23 pages long already. All cause of a sticker. Such madness. Were there really 5000 Emmet fans to begin with? Well philb of course so 4999? If they were never stickered and still limited to 5000 and we never knew I bet they'd still be available.5 points

What’s up with Walmart having Homer/Krusty in stock and available for store pickup, so not third party, but selling for $404 points

I still hate brickheadz......... I love modular buildings. These brickheadz may buy me more buildings. For that I say thank you brickheadz, but I still hate them.4 points

How the heck do you know number of unopened vs opened? Inquiring minds want to know what strain it is. ? Still in stock from Jeff b on amazon so I think there’s a few unopened ones left. Brick me is prime for remake or a 2.0. Sort of like Minecraft crafting box. Relative dud at buyin anything less than 30% discount. Compared to boba fett bhz at msrp starting to go Mickey. Hope u got some of those3 points

I did the same yesterday evening around 5pm EST. Stock ran out about 45 mins after my order went through. Received shipping notification this morning around 1030am EST. Key is to check your order in a web browser to check if it has the Processed! note on it and has the cancel button disabled. Mine did about an hour after ordering.2 points

I think these are ill timed SDCC exclusives they needed to offload. The movie released far too early to take advantage of SDCC.2 points

How about only 5000 UCS Falcons? That would be something to behold. I’d be hurting if I tried to buy two. Let alone one!2 points

Benny is done now. For whatever reason a few stores got mayhem looks like 2 in Washington State still have stock.2 points

Looks like Mayhem is done. I'll be very pissed if Target cancels my first batch that is still sitting in processing.2 points

Mayhem sold out in 6 hours with limit 2 and red card. Maybe more on their way to a few stores.2 points

i thought the premise was that you knew that proportion of go brick me sets in circulation that had been already opened up and played with. i must have misread the post. premise of the brickheadz theme's demise at the end of 2018 has already been disproven with the release of new sets in January 2019 and now 4 new LEGO movie bhz in February 2019. go brick me has ok demand. 46 sellers sales rank 429, better than most bhz but still not that great. the most intriguing thing about gobrickme is that amazon still has it in stock and is able to sell it for $1.99 over msrp .same with walmart. maybe there is more gas in the tank than i can appreciate which likely has to do with parting out. no pi$$ing contest - just putting money where mouth is.1 point

Just referring to the number appearing on the bay for sale.Would definitely not panic sell. When I contacted Sah recently about availability in EU for these they did mention some of the previous popular BHZ might be reintroduced but as always big pinch of salt time.1 point

Excellent analysis regardless of over or under assumed percentages. At this small a production run no way this decision was based on profits. With such a small ROI no design/sales team would pitch this. I like what some have speculated about a failed or re-thought SDCC offering. Those are limited run with low ROI.1 point

I think there is a chase fig. Flashback Lucy seems 2 in a box. Rest have 3 in a box, except Candy Rapper has 4. Brothers-Brick also noted this in their box. As mine also shows this (bough in Netherlands), I do not think it is a coincidence. But will soon buy another box. Let's see how that one turns out.1 point

Even w/ the recent Lego Movie 2 BHs craziness...I still think the Mice will outperform all other BHs in the longterm (1-2 years); That said...if the BH line becomes long gone...just thought maybe the Brick me set becomes king...it's gotta have the most unique printed pieces and may be far less produced (I don;t recall any deals that would favor hoarding...other than the typical 20% off)...and has a real kitchy thing going.1 point

https://www.target.com/p/lego-brickheadz-the-lego-movie-2-sweet-mayhem-41637/-/A-6264263 Worked for a moment. Set quantity to 99, hit "Ship it", now says: "product not available we're sorry! this page is currently unavailable. please try again later." Did not read the description, before trying to order... so I can't confirm the page says "Limited to 5000". And now I have a 2 hour meeting, so I'm sure it will become active during that time.1 point
