Went to Target yesterday looking for these and this is what awaited me.
  8. Walmart has Minecraft Farm Cottage 21144 for $39.99 again. Not a great discount, but the set is supposedly on its way out. https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Minecraft-The-Farm-Cottage-21144-549-Pieces/173323787 EDIT: WM also has Architecture Las Vegas 21047 for 20% off ($31.99). Not sure if that's necessarily a great price, but it seems rare to see Architecture sets with discounts. https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Architecture-Las-Vegas-21047-Building-Set-501-Pieces/431480349

  12. Love it... Mind you, if that happened here in East London the planters as well as the package would have disappeared. Mind you maybe not, as the place would definitely have ground to a complete standstill seeing as you have more than an inch of snow.
  13. Same with mine. They still have nexo knights at full price at mine.
  14. Local Kohls finally dropped to 50% off on a few sets. 60194 (City Arctic) - $29.99 75216 (SW) - $34.99 41351 (Friends) - $19.99 75209 (SW) - $14.99 Will check the other one in town in an hour or so.

This is the first set to include a pink space suit with the classic space logo, which is driving the popularity up. Benny is plentiful, elsewhere.

I sure did! Everything is awesome! I wasn't even embarrased not having my kids with me. ha!
  17. Decided to do a full Kohl’s run across 5-6 stores today. First store, several ninjago sets at 50% off, and a well hidden mint BB8 for $29.99. This is like a hidden gem within hidden gems, doesn’t seem like there’s much competition to ****** these up. Note, wanted to upload receipt but wouldn’t allow me, I’ll try to upload later on my computer once I’m done through all the stores.
  18. I got really lucky. Working for a Chinese company in the US, one of my Chinese-native coworkers recently went back and was able to find set 80102. She didn't look everywhere, but she did say that at the location she was at, that 80101 was sold out. Not sure what that means regarding overall production run, however.
  19. Buying the TRU Geoffrey and friends set will get you some of the parts and the sticker sheet needed. Get them while you can!
  20. Think speed champions are on the 2 for 15 in Argos, would that not be a better deal?
  21. The Racers Fiesta is also in the 2 for 15. Picking up a couple at lunchtime. I like those sets.

Let’s just say I’m more interested in picking up Detective Offices at RRP than I am of getting any more BBs
  31. I saw it today as well and agree with your ranking. The best part was my 6 year old handing me a large bag of popcorn towards the end of the movie and only having one handful left. That girl hardly eats anything else, but she sure loves popcorn.

probably none of them as first 2 are potentional remake targets forever and you never know if 10264 ends up being dud like Pet Shop or winner like Brick Bank, I would pick 71043 Hogwarts Castle
  33. so considering upcoming changes in fba fee structure with respect to reduction/elimination of long term storage fees... on the surface this would seem to be a good thing. however considering it another level, this will encourage sellers to send larger numbers of sets in at one time. past experience with listing where 1 seller has large inventory sitting there on a low demand listing is that the price crashes as someone with 1 or 2 item to sell is not going to just "wait it out" for toyjumbo to move their 3 dozen. they cut the price. and there are usually 8 or 9 of those folks with just 1 -2 at a time to sell. so this just leads to undercutting galore. now just imagine that there is no disincentive to having many many sets sitting in a ware house with long term storage fees getting reduced. now we have 8, 9 15 sellers shipping in large stock quantity to fba warehouse and this process just gets magnified. my game plan has always been to send in stuff just in time to sell it\ minimize storage fees but maybe its time to evolve. anyone else concerned about this having a negative impact or am i just paranoid waiting for sky to fall as usual.

  38. I must be getting too old for QF game. I cannot see how to make money selling these for $17-$18 on the Bay
  39. Finally built the 75050 B-Wing tonight. Love these minifig-ish scale ships! Why even bother with UCS?
  40. Today my son built the 2014 version of the City Police Station with no help from me at all that I bought new a few years ago. It was great to see him take a technology break. The nerd part of me had to look in the sandwich bag I gave him to put the extra pieces in after he finished and he missed a few pieces. No worries there because I always seem to miss something when I build too. Like father, like son!
