Came through with some clearance Brickheadz at TJ Maxx and Marshall's today 7x Anna/Olaf $5.00 4x Elsa $3.00 2x Finn $3.00 1x Rey $3.00 (didn't have one yet, but yeah, it's probably the worst of the series) 2x Wonder Woman $6.00 1x Master Wu $6.00( no idea how they had this one) I left some trashed boxes behind, but was pretty happy with the score today. I left a $74 Hospital at Kohl's, just have a feeling I'll be able to do better closer to retirement. Clearance City isn't hard to come by around here.

I only bought one 75144, to build. I wouldn't even consider buying any to resell unless they hit 50% off. It's still a great set, just not a great set for investment unless buy-in is rock bottom.

this set was a correct guess in ravenb99's retirement riddle and is on the list to be retired in 2018. looking at the village performance, this set should make it to $500 fba amazon - low $400s on ebay within reasonable time frame so if that seems worth it to you at rrp buyin, go for it. toycentric is selling them for $389 on amazon so that's your theoretical maximal cap on the ebay price for now - lol. if you can wait it out til seller count gets very low, this could be a $700 set in 3-4 years. upside: little chance of a remake. downside: unlikely waning of minecraft interest. still going strong but anything could happen. it was on sale for $199 multiple times. i bought several at that price point. personally not enthusiastic at msrp given clearance abundance in my neighborhood but still will do better than any other large retiring set so msrp could work out maybe. then there comes the risk of selling a large set and getting scammed...

I put an armory in the basement below the inner courtyard (accessible through entrance next to stairs in the inner courtyard), a stable in the lower entrance, and a private dining area on the second floor of the great hall. Built BB8 Over Christmas break with my kids. Not a bad little build overall. We put it on the shelf next to 10225 UCS R2D2 and they make a decent pair.

LEGO Shop at Home shipped my snowspeeder order double boxed. Pretty nice, I like this trend. Have gotten technic 911 and nasa rockets doubled, now this. I thought sets this size always had 2 or 3 per carton.

The one thing that hasn't changed after all these years is the confident brickpicker proudly gloating over their new found superior wisdom.

Built 30404 Friends Flower today ... Yes it is incomplete .. Bought 4 of these at WM for $2 each, but when I came home I noticed one had been ripped open on the side. Missing about 20 of the 100 pieces. The build properly reflects how good our household is in keeping plants alive ....
