all depends on the seller count. with all the attention 41625 has been getting the seller count has doubled in the last week on amazon but is still an incredibly low 11. by comparison, minnie mouse has 30 reseller scum plying their overpriced wares. by further comparison, captain america bh, probably the top performers of series one and going for just over $27 and has 13 sellers. if there is one class of fan whose rabidity cannot be underestimated, it is that of the disney fan. when there are 3 people left selling these on amazon, the price will be well north of $100. doubt we get a 90th anniversary steam boat willie mickey-minnie two pack - they would have just done that. and they did just release new mickey and minnie figure sets. in 2019 i'm expecting donald-daisy, pluto-goofy, and peter pan - capn hook bhz to be released. my ultra-bold prediction is that in 2020 we get a fantasia mickey wizard remake as a tie in to the 80th anniversary of film's release.

2019 - Everyone realizes they didnt want Brickheadz to begin with- investors shocked! - Ebay slowing sales they finally lower their rates to bring back sellers. - Tower Bridge first set to be granted evergreen status because Lego can’t move the last 2 sets they had since 2015. - Lego brings back either Classic Space or Castle in limited sets. - Star Wars is lowest selling line and (agree) and sets after episode 9 are scaled back. - Huge Lego Forma push with life sized moving statues at one of the toy fairs and they be creepy. Forma master set hits 10x RRP

IMHO, If you have limited dollars there are certainly better investments at rrp. As a rule smaller sets have much better roi.

How high did Gingerbread House get to again? That was a freebie. We know that 30 Euros for the rarer singles and 50 for the doubles is doable within 3 months of EOL. Remakes could create a ceiling but there will always be people who want the original version. I hope.

Wait....are you actually serious about this? I would bet everything in my brickfolio, and you would only have to bet one Chima Fire bike that neither one of these Mouses will ever get to $500. My guess is that $100 by next Christmas is possible, but that is close to the ceiling.

Sometimes these little hidden nods to the past make builds go from good to great. Reminds me of how video games used to parody in small parts other games or even films like entering a hidden chamber finding a certain dead soldier and the protagonist goes "Hmm, that is one doomed space marine".
