I can't believe I spotted one of these and actually got in on it. UCS MF for $599 @ Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Star-Wars-Millennium-Falcon-75192/138857969 They also have Medical Chamber for $17.99: https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Star-Wars-Hoth-Medical-Chamber-75203/291005014 (6 left after I bought 2). Yes, I know I'm a small fry.14 points

I'm more for 50x 41330 Stephanie's Soccer practice. Those $10-$15 Friends sets have been doing very well for me in the past. Most of them hit 2x-3x RRP within a year of retirement (on AMZ).2 points

yeah, I had to fight back some resistance from them saying that they aren't the same product. I finally give them the UPC number and asked them to put it in both walmart and target search fields. Sure enough the same product had came up and convinced him do match it. I just got confirmation from target that my MF has shipped. Thank You, Target!2 points

Great, waiting for mine now from the sounds of it. Congrats to those who might have gotten Target to price match and get in on the deal.2 points

75192 ... what a great price. If it wasn’t for the season and my wallet and credit cards screaming ide be in for a few without hesitation. Great deal and if you have the space and money, go for it. High risk you won’t see a better deal.2 points

I loved White Castle growing up (still do). I don't have any local, but during a trip, I was thrilled to see one and finally get the chance to have my kids enjoy them! Of course, my kids thought that they were absolutely disgusting - It was a sad moment for daddy, but I guess that's what I get for spoiling my kids with actual food.2 points

Just FYI for anyone that is buying to keep for many years and profit (most of you I assume). Remember that this box is VERY LARGE. That is your PSA for the day.2 points

Most recent feedback from November/December 2017 All but 7 feedback "imported" from other markeplaces Of most recent feedback, 3-4 buyers look like shills from single transaction and last activity date. Of most recent feedback, 2-3 buyers complain about not receiving item/poor communication. Sorry, but my spidey senses say this is a hijacked/deliberate scam store and folks'll end up doing Paypal disputes. ? (If they do ship out clone sets with tracking it'll be even more of a time sink to do the dispute...)2 points

To me, just look at the set itself. The Brick Bank is a nice looking build. It is also a bank, which every town needs. People always assume early retirement is about sales. Sometimes it’s about cost of producing a set vs. the return of selling it. I think the Town Hall was an expensive set to produce for LEGO. Maybe the Brick Bank is a similar situation. Decent sales, but it didn’t make LEGO enough money to keep around.2 points

The best way I found to pull the trigger on this was to go in-store and pick up Boba BHz at 20% plus a couple of battle packs at 20% off. Of course that's only if you have a store near you. I also think that, like others are saying, you can do alright on this if sold as a lot of "exclusive Star Wars figs"..... At best...it's a $25 or so coupon stacked on the 20% sale.....not too bad1 point

UCS Falcon...I’d rather buy 12 City Hospitals, Holiday Trains, or Heartlake Hospitals at full pop than sink that money into these boat anchors. For personal use, it’s a great price. For reselling, it’s quite risky and asking a lot once it retires ( probably 8 years from now). Those who think lightening will strike twice with the Falcon are in for a disappointment. Investing dollars can be spent much better elsewhere IMO.1 point

Yeah, most sales completely fall through because you are dealing with a whole different level of fruitcake on CL. That said, every once in a while, you get a genuine Lego enthusiast coming out of dark ages. I recently sold a 10240 X-Wing, 10236 Ewok Village, 75059 Sandcrawler bundle on there for $850 cash. Nice guy, was wanting to get go back and get all the UCS sets he missed out on. I was happy to move 3 large sets out of my basement.1 point

You have to be patient. It wasn't a big seller because many people already had the original UCS, thus the early retirement. But if it's not selling now, maybe it will not be a great flip in the future. That being said, I doubt there will be another UCS Snowspeeder for a long time...if ever.1 point

For me, modulars will always be at the top of the pile in terms of priority. I'm sure many others feel the same way.1 point
