well, I went to a store, which I routinely bought lego from, during my lunchtime break. Checked out with $250 worth of lego and got 3 HP promos as planned. Then here comes the interesting part, the person who checked me out happened to be the manager and he said he saw me purchased lego a lot (truth) from time to time and he thanked me for bringing biz to his store. As a token of thanks, he grabbed a couple more HP promos and put them in my bag, so instead of 3 promos, I got 8 ?

Woke up to 5 pages of Deals... Thought I missed something big... Congrats to all on the Batcave... I'm glad I was sleeping or I might've been tempted to make bad decisions.

all from 1 barnes and noble store, everything 50% off except for 2 minnie brickheadz. took 3 trips to harvest everything which was all on the shelves completely unmarked. in the middle of holiday shopping insanity. ahhh. sigh.. so sublime wiping all the clearance out under such circumstances. somehow i snagged 9 harry potter promos even though i was only due 5. i guess i was rounding up when we were tallying and didn't encounter resistance. most enjoyable part of the raid was the second checkout when the assistant manager starts ringing up the sets and seeing the prices and her eyes start bugging out saying "I didn't know there was a 50% off sale."

Is there any way to have amazon simply cut a check to my credit card company instead of depositing it into my bank account? Would save me a step.

Eh It's going to be stuck around $150 for a long time now after this. Huge box warming the shelf. Pain to ship. It's been on blinq now for an hour and still in stock? It's a great deal for sure I just don't like the set. Learned my lesson with Arkham and Tumbler, no bat investments.

I like the set. Too good of a deal. I remember when people complained about the UCS B-Wing for $99.00. Flimsy...Poor build...Blah..Blah...Blah...Now look at it.

Its also actually pretty smart move from the financial / accounting point of view: employees sell this in general somewhere around 150-200 USD, if you were to give them a cheque / premium to a salary for 200 USD (here).. the guy would get only 158 USD after taxes and the employer would have to send to financial authorities another 68 USD on taxes, social and health insurance..

Yes, I've bought a lot though them. Boxes are hit or miss. Sometime they will be labeled as opened/damaged in the listing and will arrive mint. Other time they will look like someone drop them out of the airplane to deliver.

Just getting this back into people's mind. No matter what the complainers (at the time) said, this set has been a great money maker. I got 30 during the surprise sale last year, sold 5 for $40 on Amazon as a QF, and sold the remaining 25 over the last month or two on Amazon for $60 each. @Sfcommando14 was wrong and right at the same time

If only someone would of warned us during summer... that was the first reference of train staying and station going as well, not to be confused with the other 100 times it was asked... brick bank and joker manor too, just a little snippet of a bigger riddle to come...
