Depends. Do you have a habit/OCD in using a certain number of sheets regardless of how thick it is? If so, buy the normal two-ply. Calculate cost per feet is usually the “value” at look at...with a minimum two-ply of course. Don’t get the moistured ones, it just feels weird. If you want moisture, just dab some water. You don’t want too soft or it’ll just slide off, you want a nice friction to scrape it cleanly off. But it also depends on your hands and technique. In conclusion? Just poke your finger into the bag and just feel out what works for you. There, enough info?5 points

How the hell do you know what your wife uses? I mean, I can look in my wife's area of stuff but would have no idea on what is "in" and what it is called even if the bottle is right in front of me.3 points

I come here, see everyone commenting on Christmas gifts and postal workers... And to my horror, not a single person mentions the perfect gift. A gift which will raise the spirits of any man. Why, the very things they've stacked on our porches, thirty high for thirty days. All while contemplating, what kind of madman could possibly order this much Target, Wal-Mart and Amazon? Nobody thought to spare just one measly set for these poor souls. Shame on all of you... I am a different man. One to be remembered as a god among postal customers. They will fight over my route like starved rats. My Christmas gift will be talked and reveled about around the post office water cooler for years to come. A gift worthy of its storied past. 80101 and 80102 to be available @ lego.com.au? If true how long do ya reckon it'll last? My vote 5 minutes. https://ramblingbrick.com/2018/11/29/region-exclusive-chinese-new-year-sets-will-be-available-in-australia-new-zealand-news-80101-80102/2 points

Certain things I don't buy for my wife. Clothes and makeup are at the top of the list. Kudos to those than do.2 points

Gets on soapbox ... Gentlemen, this is a buying orgy. Just like a real orgy, small talk and asking questions is frowned upon. Everyone present acknowledges they are making poor choices they will later regret. Now take my money! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app2 points

Usually people that set it to the buy box price when they ship it and don't realize how much the price will rise this time or year. Or they don't bump the price up on inactive stuff. If someone cancels an order or it gets refunded, it will go back to the price you last sold it at if you don't have a system to avoid that. I'm selling stuff for $10 or $15 more now than I was just on Thanksgiving so things can change that quickly.2 points

People that come into a listing at prices significantly below the buybox are really starting to annoy me. I mean, learn how to price or get off the platform. Ridiculous to be undercutting so much right now when stuff is selling. Rant over.2 points

Crazy how the days leading up to Thanksgiving into the weekend and Monday (some Tuesday) were hopping with discounts all over. Looking now, you would think nothing happened at all and 5-10% off was a deal. Glad I didn't hesitate to buy this year, although there was probably another $1-5k that I could have spent easily but backed off under fear of being cancelled by WM or banned by my wife. I am definitely paying my credit card in multiple payments this month to mask the one single large payment approach. Helps though that for me being a small player, still got nearly 30 orders out the door at the same time I was loading back up but now wish I would have bought more in the past to continue the sales. Fun stuff and I love that this replaces my gambling habits.1 point

I've never subscribed to this thread. That eliminates the email management issue.1 point

Actually I was just trying to change the topic as I was getting very bored of TP and USPS and makeup posts. Thought I would throw a match on things. I figured this would be more entertaining at least. ??.1 point

Could not have said it better. Thank you...finally someone who gets how big of a deal I am. Thank you1 point

Simple stuff...makeup remover wipes, q-tips, fake eyelashes, small pallet of eye shadow, cotton rounds. Nearly every woman would use that. Even just picking out a color that you would like to see on her for something small like nail polish goes a long way, at least for me. Stocking stuffers in our house are things we needs but don't want to buy for ourselves.1 point

With this many sellers, I am wondering if there is too much supply out there or if this is just a rush to holiday flip. As long as this doesn't go retail, I would think this will appreciate well especially once the current Harry Potter sets retire. I'm kind of hoping for a soccer mom blogger scenario in a year like we had for Gingerbread House. I'll still pick up more along the way but the price isn't quite yet at my buy in preference. Maybe after Christmas. In the mean time, I did pick a handful of these cobblestone printed tile pieces from Lego Bricks and Pieces. It looks so good.1 point

You're close. Order goes Cleveland then Detroit. Can't wait to see how LEGO captures the Cuyahoga River catching on fire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM Back on topic... both sets are awesome. Not sure how I feel about being 150x deep in 21019, but hey, like they say: if you win you will be happy, if you lose, you will be wise.1 point

I said that many times over, but purely based on the visual aesthetics, this is in my opinion one of the best looking modulars ever.. its sleek, elegant (combination of grey and white never fails).. kind of art deco architectural style.. compare this in 5 yrs against the latest Diner (totally unimaginative architectural style, although very memorable and "classy" for the US population".1 point

Guilty. I’m not approaching steam roller numbers, but I have double digits. Why wouldn’t I? It’s a big a** freaking bank! It looks awesome in any city lay out. Any collector would be silly not to have it.1 point
