The only thing sweeter than these deals are the badass sweet potatoes I am making. Nothing like dropping 4 digits in the kitchen with a laptop next to the stove. My wife, children, and dogs (Hope and Zoey) are placing Wal-Mart pickup orders with myself as the alternate (optional) pickup. Different cards on each transaction at different stores, split between myself and my wife's cards. It's my trick to avoid the ban hammer so far. I'd put the cats down too but Oreo may be considered an insensitive name by the fruitcakes, Jigsaw was a movie killer, and well Cosmo... who would believe this guy had a job and credit?4 points

Is that warning because they may be bankrupt by then? ? My warning would be only order for yourself as there's a good chance you'll receive a pancake shipped in a bag.2 points

more extensive discussion: summary: large number of brickpickers are getting banned by walmart over last few days. order gets placed, stays stuck in preparation status and is then cancelled because of some bs credit card issue. many are getting banned on small orders 1 deep or 2 deep but with maybe a deep buying history. be cautious. not clear what they are doing here.2 points

Well, technically on eBay it's not a blanket. With Australian sellers, they pay the GST and it's included in the price, while if you buy from eBay abroad, eBay charges you, the buyer for the 10% GST on top of your purchase, not the foreign seller. It seems that Amazon realised that they were losing out to eBay so they followed suit. Their pathetic FU to the Aus gov't backfired. Not to say I Iike our gov't either but that's how it is.2 points

I started working on a popsicle stick castle. It’s hard. This is close to 35 hours of work. Split across the last 4 long nights. About 1200 sticks and 20 hot glue sticks. Almost 2500 individual cuts using a pair of wire cutters just to trim the round ends off. And this is just the base. It’s 2 foot by 2 foot. But it’s sturdy and flat as hell now. I’m proud.2 points

Ha, I was thinking the bankruptcy, but that is a valid point as well - most of mine have been pancaked recently, too.1 point

I've had two batches of orders cancelled by Target over the last week. The first was when I placed somewhere around 18 orders for the same items in 10 minutes. The second was yesterday and was 8 orders spread out over a few hours for different items. Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app Just open a new account. I haven't had to do that with Target since 2015, but it worked perfectly back then. Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

3 vehicles, crappy structure build and generic minifigs? Retail at 70$? The price should retail at 40$, sale at 20$.1 point

While I agree with you ed I’d have to say in Australia the buyer still pays gst. Its just nicely bundled in with the price. But I know what you mean. edit. I re read what you said and it’s exactly what I said. Will see myself out......1 point

My two small orders from Monday were cancelled today, same CC verification excuse they are giving others. As a brick and mortar (not LEGO) store owner I can’t even fathom turning away a sale in this era of retail apocalypse. Hell, we will gladly gift wrap and carry it to your car! The thing that cracks me up is Walmart and Target want to replace TRU this year and in the end, I’m just buying from AMZ as they price match WM. I did buy a fair amount at Target this week however with the $10 Gift card promo.1 point

Guilty. I’m not approaching steam roller numbers, but I have double digits. Why wouldn’t I? It’s a big a** freaking bank! It looks awesome in any city lay out. Any collector would be silly not to have it.1 point
