Best haul I've ever had today. Got everything in the picture, including quite a lot of smaller unboxed sets, for £100! A lot of it is still mixed up in bulk, but I've been able to briefly look through and it looks like all minifigures are there. Can hardly believe my luck with this!15 points

A bit of a shameless cross-post with the 'what did you buy today?' thread, but here is something that will be keeping me busy. Everything boxed here, plus lots of smaller sets without boxes, is mostly mixed together. A couple seem to have been separated, like the Black Pearl, but it's mostly a jumble. I actually have another bulk lot with a few old pirate sets (like Black Seas Barracuda) that I haven't even started on yet, but I could not refuse this for £100.2 points

I have created a collection of 3 mini Lego steam engines, A Traction Engine, Steam Roller and Showman's Engine. I've called them "Miniature Steam Machines" and they are intended to be a kind of side project to accompany and help promote my "Old Workhorse Model on LEGO IDEAS". I set myself the challenge of seeing how much detail I could fit in using a very limited amount of bricks. each of these models is very small with the biggest one only containing 128 bricks. The pictures below show the 3 little models alongside The Old Workhorse to give an idea of how small they are. If you're interested you can find many more pics of these models on my Flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/140122416@N02/albums/72157700977635461/with/31511230398/ And don't forget if you'd like to give The Old Workhorse a chance of being made as an official set, please vote for it on LEGO IDEAS. https://lego.build/2vRfVGL2 points

I'd say you could get a billion dollars. Or maybe 5 dollars. Without any details it's very hard to say my friend!2 points

Yea, that's dang impressive. The fun of building, verifying parts, and the profits afterward. Nice score. And here I was excited that yesterday I got a used 70618 Destiny's Bounty, with minfigs and instructions, for $60. Going to build it, replace a few missing parts, and resell.1 point

For some reason, I looked at my Brickheadz stock, realized I’m only missing Captain Jack from the early run, and decided I need every Brickheadz now. *sigh* Anyone want to unload a bunch to me at a decent price? Clean out some stock?1 point

At first, I was thinking folks will complain about anything. But after looking at it, I can see your point. Some extra dimension to the ribbons or even the box lid would have been cool and frankly not hard to do. Overall, though, it's a nice giveaway.1 point

I got a £1 max selling fees offer from eBay for the weekend, I'm sure many others did as well so you can expect to see a flood of lower priced Lego on for the next 30 days1 point

My kids totally got into that show. Started recording every episode. I have to admit, it is very engaging. The codes that are in the show have real messages. There is a whole fan page for deciphering them.1 point

I like this and the carousal, we're getting some decent promotions this year. I just want to know when they're going to give them all away.1 point

Thanks very much, glad you like the way I presented the images. To be honest I think image presentation is almost as important as the model design itself, especially with something like LEGO IDEAS. Well I keep persevering and am trying to get as many votes as I can. If anyone on here is signed up to LEGO IDEAS you should have received the latest e newsletter from them yesterday. You may have noticed that I am featured in it with an article about an exhibition I took the model to a couple of weeks ago. My model featured in the LEGO IDEAS Newsletter by Bricked1980, on Flickr I took the model to a steam toy exhibition at Mountsorrel Heritage Centre in the UK where it was displayed in their railway museum. You can see in the pic above I even went as far as making my own "PLEASE VOTE" T shirt. ?1 point
