  1. On eBay. Seller accepted the offer of $500 shipped. Seller didn't realize their incredibly vague title of "Multiple Lego Sets" was why the listing had zero interest. All instructions included. Boxes included outside of the SSD. I figure I can flip the other 4 sets and make this a very reasonably priced SSD.

  7. I built the 70413 The Brick Bounty and it was a fun build that was not repetitive. The shark is missing (I bought set used on CL), is on order from BrickLink and roaming the high seas battling an alligator (in the background of the first picture) is not the same, unless you are sailing in the Florida Everglades or the Louisiana bayou. That imaginative play is beyond my scope and I am a completist. The sails really stand out and that is why I wanted this set. This set is a great alternative to the higher priced ships in the Pirate series, especially for those that got back into Lego a little late like I did and missed the 10210 Imperial Flagship, 6285 Black Seas Barracuda, and the 6243 Brickbeard’s Bounty. The minifigure selection is very good and I am a Pirate series fan! One minifigure is not in the photo, though I did have it (Pirate 4 - Vest and Anchor, Eyepatch ). The Pirate Captain almost looks like Captain Brickbeard, and in some ways looks even better. My only minor complaint with this set is it only comes with two cannons, not four – an easy mod and fix.

  8. Well, now the UCS catch up list is sitting at a cool 1 item. Rolling the dice. Listing says the sets are complete and if nothing else the images show the rare parts are all there. 7191 X-Wing and 10212 Imperial Shuttle for $332.99 Clearly parts of an AT-AT (8129) in there as well, as well as small pieces of 10221... I guess in case my last purchase goes awry.

  14. Finished up the UCS Y-Wing this afternoon after work. Got to say, probably my least favorite build of the UCS series thus far. The end result is very nice, but being in a near constant state of greebling just isn't very satisfying. The cockpit portion of the build was nice to see those angles some together, but the rest was less than such. The fins at the rear kept falling off as well. Very glad I never spent big money on a 10134 as I'm assuming the build is very similar.

  15. Ninjago sets from a 90+ set purchase from a few weeks ago. No parts or minifigs were missing on these There were also some smaller Ninjago sets and a 9445 is missing 1 minifig. Thankfully I sold most of the Mega Blok in the lot for $155 to help offset the $175 buy-in. Next up from this lot are the large Star Wars sets.

  17. Essex has about 2/3 of the Amazon facilities liquidation. (the contracts are bid on yearly). They have to take all the amazon returns and fc overstocks from all those facilities. Bargain Hunt is their retail stores. They also have a wholesale Dept where they sell out to other people like myself. That particular item was taken in to their floor load processing facility outside Nashville and then processed. They then put out on loads that have the smaller bar code sticker with the load it came from. Usually numbered and AF for amazon floor load. Floor loads refer to the way they are shipped from the amazon return facility to them. Basically is a hand stacked 53' trailer top to bottom. You can also buy the processed stuff they don't want which is what that set came from originally. The store tags are slightly different and have different information. That's about 46 pallets of that type merchandise from a load from them

  18. As someone pointed out elsewhere ... Saturn V has 1969 Lego parts and costs (in The Netherlands) €130 UCS Y-Wing 75181 has 1967 Lego parts and costs (in The Netherlands) €230. So that's basically €100 DISNEY TAX on the new Y-Wing set!

  19. UCS sets were already dead as investments back when I joined in 2016. Everyone & their dog is onto it. I was late to the game in 2016 & UCS aftermarket prices are what got my attention. As advised hang around & have a read for a while before spending anything. The game got very tough due to a massive influx of new investors coming in over the past two years. Good luck!

  24. From TheBrickFan these look better, really like that shuttle! Overpriced, still. I won’t post to avoid spoilers but this year’s advent calendar seems really bad.

  25. With a name like "RESISTANCE", and the fact that BB-8 is in the image, leads one to believe it is set during, or shortly before, the current trilogy.
