Went to Denmark with wife and kids over the May vacation and a visit to Billund was of course on the itinerary. One day visit to the first and original LEGOLAND park, with a very expensive Lego shop inside (so I didn't buy anything there), and another day spent inside the LEGO House, where I brought home these nice mint boxes.4 points

You might not think it's a day 1 purchase yet, but TLG knows how to hook you now: LIMITED EDITION, COLLECTIBLE LEGO TECHNIC DRIVER LICENSE VIP CARD Get your new LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron on 1 August, 2018 and receive a collectible driver license VIP card with your name on it! With the card, you'll enjoy a full year* of Technic-themed offers throughout 2019! *Offers may not actually occur "throughout" the year. Probably more like once or twice. And don't ask what these things might be, just trust us, they'll be awesome**. And even if there ends up being nothing extra offered, you've got the special VIP card and the great set, so do you really need anything else? **Items may not be that awesome.2 points

Just saw they are moving the release date up, or at least VIP release date, to June 1st for the Bugatti Chiron. The mini website is up and running, too, complete with down to the second countdown. It’s a tough time to be released for me because I’ve really gotten into Technic sets recently, including finishing the 42000 about a week ago. Maybe the Porsche 911 gts set will drop a little bit once this lands, and I can scratch my itch with it instead.....1 point

Yep, I would put that one up there as well, but the final product is amazing.1 point

After about my 16th order it stopped working... so not sure what happened! Orders are confirmed and a handful waiting to be picked up already and the others on the 15th....1 point

My two sealed cases showed up today from minifigure plus. Thanks. Now to put them in my inventory and most likely forget about them in a week. Time to start selling again. I don't buy minifigs, but I liked these ones.1 point

This might be the best set i've ever seen. I just haven't been paying attention to the new stuff coming out of late, but THIS SET IS FREAKING INCREDIBLE! This is definitely a set that is going under the tree for me...err my son!1 point

I really like it.. the price could be (of course! a bit lower) . but that is just life.. I will get it next year, when the initial dust settles..1 point

I don´t care much for the fairground theme, but once has to admit that the rollercoaster does everything it should. It is functional and the cars don´t get stuck. Size and scale looks good too. I guess the good folk are just saturated with big Lego sets these days - 5 years ago people would have been dreaming about this.1 point

I see where you're going with this but there's no hiding that this is roller coaster track. Also it will take a bit of engineering to motorize the cars. Naysayers argue against the benefits of the original Lego monorail system but I'll say that it was ahead of it's time. The monorail system track is 4 studs wide which is perfect for incorporating into Lego City layouts. The current train system is too big IMO. Size wise this roller coaster track is perfect but I'm not sure Lego is interested in modifying it to incorporate a motorized tram. Now, what will be cool is seeing the first Space Mountain MOC!1 point

Awesome. Plain and simple. I love how it can basically break apart for easy movement, the switch-track is GREAT attention to detail and the tires used to help the train around the top hill is pretty neat. I can only imagine the MOCs people will make with this set alone...not to mention more than one. It wont be a day one purchase as I know I will have a lot of time to buy this, but this will definitely be in my list!1 point
