  1. Hopefully this paves the way for some other famous landmarks in future years (initial Lego mockups attached)
  2. Face shield is the dealbreaker for me. The ultimate butterface. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  3. Pepperidge Farm remembers...
  4. I'd rather they just stick this head on it.
  5. Tourists who travel to New York and see the statue will not care about the accuracy of this set as much as I think people from the U.S. will. They will look at this as a memory or a gift they can buy to remember seeing it while on vacation. Same as I have a couple sets from Europe, even if I don’t know if it’s exactly accurate.

    That haircut looks familiar
  7. shieldface is the name of my new metal band.
  8. We need Mongolian micro figs.
  9. As soon as I build the little cars I’ll be going “WHEEEE!”
  10. Like New UCS MF @ AWD $696 https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Ultimate-Millennium-Falcon-Building/dp/B075SDMMMV/ref=sr_1_1/135-0935982-7109951?m=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&s=warehouse-deals&ie=UTF8&qid=1524522885&sr=1-1&keywords=lego&refinements=p_89%3ALEGO
  11. Someone has been watching Lifetime Network today.
  12. Sold my Minifigure Factory and Darth Vader Pod on Bricklink. $35 back from a $90 order. Not bad.
  13. Drivers who back into parking places in crowded parking areas such as churches, parking garages and yes, Walmarts, who take 20 seconds or more to park, only to have to pull back out and then back in to straighten the vehicle. Going straight from winter to summer weather with no spring in between. This year has been better with a cool spring in the East. Impossible to open pet poop bags. Neighbors who park in front of our home when there are plenty of places to park on the other side of the street. Kids who wake up before 7 AM on weekends. Missing out on website pricing errors such as Target, Amazon, and Walmart. Happy for those, however, who get their orders in and delivered!
  14. Would Mount Rushmore have 3 bases and a home plate?

  16. I'm surprised by the negative feedback on this set. To me anyway, it looks like a complicated build and something that would display well with the other Fairgrounds sets.
  17. I updated the forum to the latest and greatest this morning. Let me know if you are running into any issues. I had to disable the dark/nighttime theme until a proper update comes out for this version by the theme creator so there is only the one theme for now. I also just disabled some plugins and checking them one by one to see what was preventing posts from happening.
  18. will bogus bricks make these too? LOL
  19. Four year olds have been building this for decades.
  20. Not blown away by this. The base looks fine but I don't think lady liberty herself works. Why is the arm so short? It's clearly too short in the image on the box showing the side-by-side with the real one.
  21. Can't wait to see photos of this set connected to the Ninjago City set. That will be a sight to behold!
  22. It's not perfect - but I appreciate the effort.
  23. This is a silly criticism. How many people are going to want a minifig or even Architecture scale replication of the Great Wall of China which spans over 13,000 miles (or 21,196 km)?!?! This is for the casual Architecture fan who wants a fair representation for a fair price. It looks good to me.
  24. Calling it now - Swing Ride will be the next fairground set (look at the background image)

This has got to be LEGO just trolling all the helicopter hate.
  26. Love this. Might have to try and rework the neck but this looks great. The beige stonework and body look spot on next to the real-life picture. Have always wanted the larger model but this looks like a great alternative
  27. I guess @ravenb99 is already on bag 3. 4124 pieces.
  28. Before we had kids my wife and I spent numerous hours playing Diablo II together on our LAN. Working together to kick the crap out of the boss-monsters we encountered. Ah, those were the days...
  29. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  30. In life, you sometimes look backward at the frivolous things you spent money on, and wonder “why did I do that?” (Hello, 1990s comic books) The amount of hours I spent (wasted) sitting there playing RCT or SimCity is incalculable. Before kids, I remember my wife and I coming home work, going into our office, sitting down on our two computers and building away for 5+ hours at a time.
  31. the pink beehive as cotton candy is a great use of that part.
  32. This makes me want another western theme
  33. No fairground set next year....
