Last night I finished building the Parisian Restaurant while drowning my sorrows after the KU loss. I love all the small details, especially in the top level. This was my first modular and I’m hooked. I can’t say I wasn’t warned!3 points

My wife bought this movie on Friday with the kids. They had a movie night to watch it. I don't think they lasted 45 mins before they turned it off. Fast forward to this morning, my daughter (3) refused to watch The Last Jedi and is currently watching Return of the Jedi again with her new Darth Vader Blanket that the Easter Bunny brought her3 points

Great set. Small but doesn't feel so over priced after it's built. $5 per minifig, a lot of trans-colored pieces as well as tiles, licensing fees and you can see where the pricing comes from. Quorra feels a little left out without her Light Runner though. The Lego Store had quite a few this afternoon when I stopped by. The only other people I saw buying were AFOL types.3 points

New (other). As long as you properly disclose the box damage then there shouldn't be an issue. If the seals are busted then I would open it up to make sure all the bags are there and sealed. Take pictures to prove it. There are enough buyers who will be happy without the box as long as the contents are still new in sealed bags.2 points

Gotta love "corporate HQ" when they get all in a tizzy over something like this. Obviously, if they don't want mistakes like this to happen, don't send them to the stores early. But anyway.. .hopefully that employee doesn't get the wrath over this. It's just a freaking toy... not a life or death situation... I'm sure there was probably an assassin with mouse ears on it's way to poland.2 points

Welcome to the Grid folks. The designers were in their early 20ties or so. Nice blokes tho. I had to wait in queue about 2h to get this set signed. Masses of people were hoarding like crazy. The old fishing store hasn't received such recognition like this set hands down. This might be an indicator for TLG in the future... Oh - it's my 1000 post here, anniversary time2 points

Minifigures+ My opinion, of course. I like the zero work aspect. The price is usually close to RRP.1 point

One would assume they have the next two years´ models fixed. 21050 is also used by the Architecture Studio.1 point

Ignore the "last Jedi is an abomination" complaints. It's as fun and entertaining as well as flawed (acting and plot) as any of the OT films individually. (I have very fond memories of the SW OT from childhood, but unlike a lot of people I know I'm when I'm wearing "rose tinted glasses")1 point

Hopefully everyone bought at least a few of these when they were $6 or less. Geoffrey the creep is fetching some pretty good money right now. Same can be said for all other TRU branded sets (7848, 40144, 40077). If a piece of our childhood is dying off, we might as well make a few bucks off of it!1 point

The Assembly Square arrived today. I guess UPS now delivers on Saturdays year around. Lots of pillow puff packing in the large shipping box. The Lego box itself is in overall good shape with some expected creasing. To expect a mint box this size and weight is ridiculous. Enjoy the great deal you have in your hands.1 point

All of this bickering reminds me of the 50% off LEGO Shop at Home B-Wing sale from many years ago. It's amazing how a great sale can bring out the saltiness in some people. Update to my order status...I ordered 0 AS and 0 DS because I missed the sale due to work. None have shipped so far. Life goes on. There will be other sales in the future.1 point
