UPDATE! So I received a call from my insurance company the other day. The police arrested a guy for breaking & entering, and when they searched his property, they found "a lot of Lego sets". One detective was having lunch with my detective and casually mentioned the find, and he remembered my case from 2016 and they interrogated the suspect. He totally admitted meeting me on Craigslist, bought a few sets from me, and then came back to my warehouse to commit the robbery. He was able to back a cargo truck up to the loading door and spend several hours loading up. The replacement value at the time was $39k. I am so relieved they caught the guy, and now I'm waiting to hear from the police so I can go see what is left from the theft (they say there is A LOT). Next step will be to strike a deal with the insurance company to purchase everything back (at a salvage rate of course). They are willing to give me the right of refusal so I can recover all or some of it. I'll update once I see what is left and what we can work out. Just a reminder to everyone who can learn from my ignorance & innocence: never let anyone into the inner sanctum. Since the theft, we treat the warehouse like Willy Wonka's factory : no comes in, no one goes out. We even have a visual barrier separating the storeroom area from being seen by UPS and FedEx drivers. As far as Craigslist goes, I've only tried to sell a handful of larger items (new MF for example) with the stipulation that the transaction takes place at the local police department, and I haven't had a taker yet.36 points

All of this bickering reminds me of the 50% off LEGO Shop at Home B-Wing sale from many years ago. It's amazing how a great sale can bring out the saltiness in some people. Update to my order status...I ordered 0 AS and 0 DS because I missed the sale due to work. None have shipped so far. Life goes on. There will be other sales in the future.12 points

I had 6 Assembly Squares show up from Target yesterday. Sold 6 already and cleared about $200 each. They never even hit my storage area, nice.7 points

Just picked up my first shipment of AS at my high security location (mom's house..she's retired, so home most of the time). Ran out of room for the DBs and OMs. Also received notice of store pick ups ready.....had to deal with my 9 year old son saying "you worried about your precious little boxes dad...you worried?" As we drove over to pick them up. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Brickpicker Forum mobile app6 points

Welcome to the Grid folks. The designers were in their early 20ties or so. Nice blokes tho. I had to wait in queue about 2h to get this set signed. Masses of people were hoarding like crazy. The old fishing store hasn't received such recognition like this set hands down. This might be an indicator for TLG in the future... Oh - it's my 1000 post here, anniversary time6 points

Please don’t just throw random numbers and posts just for the sake of it . A reputable member would like to buy a house and you can cause serious damage to his selling efforts . Thanks5 points

So far I have already received 1 AS. The DS's are to arrive today. I missed out on the "Great Amazon Lego Heist of 2017"......But thanks to the OP "drshdw"for sharing ! Thank you. Funny story..... I had some #2 business to take care of that morning and decided to read my emails and the most recent one was "drshdw" OP. I quickly opened my target app and placed my orders. This was all possible with today's technology, brickpicker forum alerts and all those who post deals. Where are the most bizarre places you have all been when placing orders for a Lego deal ??? Maybe this topic will make it on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon !!4 points

you can get $240-250 with boxes much worse than those pictured above on ebay all day long in that condition with pics. You could even open them spread the sealed bags out and still get close to that. sealed decent to mint boxes pull 255-275 and sell frequently sure they might drop a hair with a glut hitting this week but it sells fine if you want to sell now3 points

I see a lot of similar posts on Facebook, something like "I know how much these have been selling for so don't try to gouge me." it makes me wonder what the incentive is for anyone to sell something to them for exactly as much as they got it for and losing money due to fees.2 points

Great to hear of a possible happy ending here. The rule about no eyes on the goods is one that I have shared forever. I do not allow anyone I don't know into my home to see what I own Lego-wise. I will have CL folks say they want to stop by and I explain that that is a no-go and that I will meet them in public. My fear is the same, that someone will break in looking for Lego that they know is there and much worse outcomes could then occur with it being my home vs. a storage locker that does not have family inside(at least it shouldn't ?). I don't really like having service individuals in the house and see the sets on display but don't have much choice with HVAC and such. It's probably very paranoid but stories like this validate the paranoia. Again, happy for you that this could have a happy ending.2 points

I don't think this guy knows how Karma works. Who is exhibiting petty jealousy and judgemental behavior, and who has liberated profit from the big bad corporation and given it to the little guy? I'll take Robin Hood level Karma any day! ??2 points

Opened my 5000 piece box this afternoon with my daughter filming. She is camera shy now. I will get that uploaded soon. Here is a still until I am home from work. Nice selection Ed, I have always regretted selling my last B-Wing, and I accidentally sold my last Research Institute. I especially love the chrome trooper and the Coruscant planet. The Ewok's remind me of when my boys loved Lego, it is great to have it. My daughter really wants the Falcon, so now I have her birthday covered. Thanks again.2 points

The good thing about damaged boxes is it makes the hold or flip decision easy. Sell now at a fair price and pocket some easy money for little work. Win-win for everyone.1 point

For all of those losing hope - I rolled the dice and bought several 21% off TRU and BRU gift cards (probably $1,000 worth). Mostly to get large exclusives and sale items from online, and the rest to price match in store. All gift cards, no merchandise credit. My first panic was when the store that day refused to price match. Rushed online quickly to buy up Speed Champion sets and small exclusives. Everything was purchased March 16. First item shipped March 19. Then days with nothing shipping, and some with orders going out as partial. Next I got several dreaded delay emails on March 25. Real fear set in with getting gift cards refunded after the end date. Well, the last pending partial order shipped yesterday. Thank the Lego gods! (Everything is on vacation hold, heading home now). Don't lose hope. Even items that I had purchased that had gone out of stock shipped. They must be extremely overrun. Now for the next concern of receiving pancakes. It was foolish to do and I never will again! Best of luck to you all still anxiously waiting. [emoji26] Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

The solution is for the community to value "cut seals, intact bags & verified contents" as more valuable than "sealed" Lol good luck with that1 point

My favorite so far is the U-Wing Microfighter for $499. I've never had the joy of being part of one of these pricing errors before. What are the odds that Target cancels these orders?1 point

What a great night to have trouble sleeping on the west coast! Not sure all my orders will hold, but we'll find out soon enough. A few others I didn't see mentioned Bounty at 99 https://www.target.com/p/lego--174--ninjago-destiny-s-bounty-70618/-/A-52093086 Technic Explorer at 59 By far the best deal assembly square at 79 limit 3 per order1 point
